These guys strike me (off the top of my head) as the most creative and unique battlers ive ever read.

I was going to say man, why is no-one mentioning him? I've seen this go from "Most Creative Battlers" to "Best Punchers" in a heartbeat. Rhetorik's stuff was dynamic and complex, he could write spirals around peeps.

I wouldn't say Milk is boring but he isn't what you'd call creative.

He has a bit of a slow, story-telling style. Keeps it simple. Makes for a good battler and an easy read but he's right, there's nothing that freaks your mind among his bars.

Yeah, taking one concept and absolutely murdering it from every angle is a nice ability to have as a battler. It's most impressive when done with one scheme, which is something that Huey Jazz is very good at.

The most creative battlers will have the biggest imaginations and the most eclectic vocabularies, for unique concepts and versatile schemework.

Basic and played wordplay is unforgivable. I was guilty of it in the past but now I can't fucking stand it. I see so many awful wordplays, even from vets, and when I did it in the past I was called out for it; so therefore I stopped. However, I saw it consistently in other people's verses and nobody kicked up a fuss.

To exhibit creativity and versatility in a battle, you just HAVE to be a good schemer. I don't see creativity in a verse that doesn't hold a scheme, doesn't interest me. I like people stretching schemes to their limit, it was Huey vs. Anon Poet that made me realise that: Although there wasn't anything immensely complex about the verse, the continuity of the schemes really display how much of a creative and imaginative writer they are, poetically and conceptually.
