Heavily influenced by Hip Hop, BlakkRoyalT (or Blakk) has a style that is best described as "Dirty South meets West Coast". Born and raised in Amarillo,TX , Blakk's musical musical influences include a vast array of talent. Being the youngest in a family of seven raised in the 1970's, Blakk was exposed to every Blues artist of the era and would come to be influenced by the emerging sounds of early Rap rumbling on the East Coast. It wasn't until the 1980's that Blakk would be swayed to pursue a career in music. The desire to one day make his independent label a success is what drives Blakk to continue pressing forward in the music industry. Blakk is now poised to release his first full-length album "Plain Blakk Wrapper" due out in the Fall of 2007.
