It's been over 9 years since I've been on this thang/ I've been way too busy out here learning the game
Went to college got educated and I earned my degree/Funny the only thing that I learned in the world nothing's free
I'm not a rapper and ironically I never planned to be/So why the hell would I find myself back on "Letsbeef"?
A combination of boredom and nothing but time, got me pretending I was born to get paid writing rhymes
Driving down memory lane and reminiscing bout memories/And got me daydreaming bout things I know that will never be
Putting a pen to pad was never the route I would take/I would find other ways to use my mind to feed my plate
Studying "Science", thinking it'd earn me a salary whole/But whats the point of a paycheck if you give up your soul?
Lost sight of what was important and the things I held dear to me/All so I could say I earned 6 figure currency
Trial and error taught me to never fear to try what you love /I learned "Godfidence" and you only get that from having faith in the Lord from above
I'm rambling so I'm gonna go ahead and wrap up my thoughts on this song/Find God, learn to love yourself...and I'm gone
