We was standing on the streets smoking green and spitting lines, minding our own business man we where three average guys, three average guys with demise in our lives fueled by hope in disguise of these tiny little lies, asked my man to the left we used to go way back, from the days that we would be sniffing and also spitting over old grey tracks, way back when we used the ajax used to think as little kids that we would always spray macs, but anyways i asked my boy "did you bring todays strap" nah man im broke i spent it on like 3 grams, oh man whats the plan the dealers gonna catch you on the spot, strap paid by friday i just hope the cunt forgot, obviously not coz hours later when we was spitting mad raps, got a text "first to leave with no strap is the boy who gets stabbed" this shits mad ive a score in my pocket but i need it, my grannies bday later week and my pays next week man i cant bleed it, "Man fuck it this guys a bitch you think hes really gonna stab us? over 30 quids strap you think that pricks really that mad bruv?" i got some bad thoughts and a feeling in my stomach, "Its trouble on my doorstep man and i dont want it, i would give you half the money but my grannies turning 80, been a couple weeks since i seen the lady lately" he stepped up and as he walked up to the door, the window broke "whats the excuse for my money for?" i heard the shouts man..it was horrific, everytime i see a knife a flashback comes along with it, i try forget it but the fact i could have paid at least half, sucks to think about coz it was over a shit amount of strap and i could have changed the outcome and thats really just a fact, and for that i blame myself that my main boy got stabbed.

Where i come from,
the needles creep up from the lawn
growing taller than the grass is long
i shit you not, it's not just a song
these streets are sewn with seeds of wrong
baggies full of black-tar bombs
deflated veins winding through dead arms
this is sad, this is sick, this city fills me with embarrassment
"this place isn't safe for kids," say all the visiting parents
As for me, 
I just want a single night
without the constant feeling of fright
that my brother will dose his way into the light
and just fade his way out of this difficult life,
leaving only flashbacks to remember him by.
this is not how i thought our great nation would die.
