I'm only 15 never touched a gun, I'm only 15 trying to have fun, At age 15 thought my life was over, Like my heart was hit by a range rover, To scared to opt out, I want to don't get me wrong But if I fail, I'm getting coped out, In handcuffs I don't want that, So I got weed now I'm on that, Broke the addiction, Broke the fiction, Now it's nonfiction, But I got this condition, I can't sleep at night, I can't sleep right, So I pop pills, It gives me the chills, Thinking how much I've changed Since elementary school, It's strange, I used to be loud and proud, Now I'm depressed and deranged, With my grades my parents used to be impressed, Now like in life I'm failing, Wake up in the middle of the night flailing, Nightmares of my past Coming up to haunt me, Failures of my past Coming up to taunt me, It leaves me in tears, The way that my fears Come true over the years, I cry out but nobody hears, It's like nobody cares, Today I started drinking, Drunk off my ass I started thinking, What's the point of living, When life is taking And never giving, I wanna take it all back, But the futures looking black, I ruined my life, Im feeling the strife, I ask myself why I do this, but my minds already been through this, you fucked up and youll do it again, theres no stopping it, so as I sit with this pen, Im writing to send a message, dont be like me, Im just a kid with a dream, big hopes to make the team, I may not make it, but if I get the chance I sure as hell will take it, started at age 11, just put words together had no meaning, now I use my words to inspire, and to stop me from screaming, at all the fakes, what has rap come to, rap is poetry you can hum to, not fast cars and fucking bitches. Blood on the GROUND, siren SOUNDS, Looking at my WOUNDS, will my soul be high like a MOUNT? What was my life ABOUT? Living on the EDGE, now I BEG to LIVE so I can get married and have KIDS.
