Its been a long time coming son, but its time to birth a new dawn. So as i type this verse, this cursory statement of rhyming words, im verbally making but subtitling to invite you into my thoughts. I was raised around hip-hop but as i grew and matured i knew i could not be a family guy and keep living that life. I lost sight of my passion, The flame disappeared for six years and i did fear that it was gone forever. But then i found what i was looking for without looking for what i had found. The answer to my unspoken question, i was sleeping on it but i jumped off the bed and got my toes wet like the side of a river, i told you to watch me arrive, cuz it was time to deliver. Then for three years i climbed the mountain wanting nothing but the peak, i picked a name that demanded i discovered what i seeked. I went back to the street, where people stayed home when it gets dark, where the chrome and the lead spark, so when RULE faced krhyme with the hammer, i ended up setting a benchmark. Rookie of the year, the crew of the moment, on the verge of flying high, i was too'ing and fro'ing. I thought i was king with all i'd achieved, but heres some food for thought, because actually getting past a artist was my masterpiece. But my unbeatable cover was blown, and i'll twist a statement from him, when i broke out the pen again i couldnt escape with a win. It didnt matter, i was home on the throne, feeling cosy and comfy then they made me face reefer when they know that im drug-free. Multiple suplexes, i bounced back again, the most popular moderator the honorific to be specific. The community changed to me, its wasnt a hobby anymore. I was more passionate about the sites success than to snipe a vet or type some text. But life doesnt like illusions, it was time consuming. I took a competition i loved that had me zoned and fierce, and moved in right next to the battlefield like roman pierce. But as to why im typing this? I think its important to know that a few months ago i hit a fork in the road. I could steer one way, and move to the right, and start live battling, and try managing some studio time. Or i could go to the left, where the sign read: "Ive got a question im asking you Simon, is your true passion for rapping or writing?" The truth was that i'd began writing in the classic(k)al sense for nearly a year. Composing fictional stories, i dont have to pretend, but to be straight you guys to tell you where im heading? Its like leg prosthetics, i been making strides. So i decided to compromise, and try my topical hand, but five battles later im the topical champ. Yep. I guess i been making strides, and eventually decided to not take a right. I was left with left with one thing left. I left. I mean im leaving, new year, new goals. But you know i cant brake the hold this place has made on my grace alone, so i fear im here to share my soul. So now you know, to make a poignant statement, this chapters closed. So i thank you for witnessing my sunset scene, remember i rode to the left if you need to come get me, The ruler, the king, a young henry, ok thats a wrap. Lets watch the sunset. scene/
