She let me go through the night, let down the fight.

My dad was shot from a drive by, bullet through his eye.
Instantly blind, then he died in the hospital, oh my.
Where is his life that was suppose to be by his side.
Life let death slide by, which killed my pops.
I saw his face drop his tears when our eyes caught.
His life was sold before it was brought.
The lessons he taught… me ill never forget.
Even though I am upset I must not be filled with regret.
I have to let it go like I did to my pet.
Let it live its self in his home, its throne.
My dad was the king of his own and the queen was life, you know,
I have to keep life as my friend and my foe.
Even though its cold as snow.
Ive seen death in my throat but swallowed it down like coke.
My dad did not know he would die.
