In real life, im a guy that feels like im being over worked and under paid
A beaten body where my shoulders hurt with cuts displayed
Cant go on this way, should i leave my wrists sliced with a razor?
I could work 40 fucking years just to get knifed by a stranger
Its not paranoia, its the fucking nightmare we call a society
Even the last 10 years of my life, all of its irony...
I predicted a few of my friends would end up with nothing at all
My own best friend is now a junkie who spends his nights slumped at a wall
He's got four kids, tries to ignore it but in his mind he applauds it
Because he see's the drugs as fun, but we all know its his forfeit
Never worked, lives of social and his wife plays the man's role...
Only title he'll ever earn is when his kids say their dad is an asshole
His shitty life is appalling, kids go to school dressed in disguise
Every sleep for them is a nightmare, they wonder if he's even alive
But i don't pity him, i've seen some shitty things but he tops them all...
I tell him to kick the habit or the next time i'll see him's the morgue...
The pills hide his feelings, the clouded pupils were loving eyes...
Now this dumb fuck dont even realise his wife is sleeping with other guys
The kids bring themselves up , learn to clean on their own
The house is disgusting, bacteria just eats at their bones...
Now what do i do?? Say im through or stand by his side....
The friend i grew up with is now a weak man full of lies...
It makes me sick, babies...kids... it dont open his eyes...
Maybe the drugs hide something to why hes broken inside
But that crack in his soul will lead to more in his seed...
This is how lifes MEANT to be.. thats what his kids were born to believe
One day, his lifeless body will be too torn up to breathe...
And his kids will be too fucked up without an option to leave
While hes jacking up, his wife makes sure her ass is pumped...
Only discipline for the kids is a punch if theyre acting up...
2 Parents, 4 Kids... sounds like a fairy tale... look where its now..
Benefit fraud keeps em going but the books wearing out...
The kids dont get shit, it gets put into their dad's veins...
Growing up, they'll blame him for the family's bad name
Now its 2007, Nothings changed, Hes still doing the same shit
Winter's setting in , no heating and his kids are all naked
Cold after cold, they become ill from the breeze....
I still keep sayin to them " find the will to believe"
They look at me strange, like im not even there....
No feelings, they live in hell so why have they got to be scared?
Nothing could be worse, no parents bring them up...
All over their bedroom things wrote like " dont living suck"
Mid way through the year, the baby dropped dead....
Cot death, To me... i'd be like " i aint got nothing left"
But to him it was like it didnt happen at all..
Another pill, more weed... and its back to the wall...
It shows what drugs can do to you if they've taken control
Leaves ya brain as a hole, starts raping your soul...
The moral is that a dad losing a child should feel eaten within...
But it says something bad when the person caring was me more than him...
