It'd be a lot better if there was lyrics as well as an expo. But I'm not going to bother these two for that and just base that battle off of my knowledge on what they're talking about.

I will just this battle on two aspects: Delivery of flow and the content of their verse from what I've been able to get from it.

Delivery: Gutpunch came off as sort of soft. I felt like some parts were kind of slurred at the beginning like between :07 and :08... it was awkward how he said tornadoes. Than at :13 after he said "reach my hands for the sky" I like totally lost him. I tried replaying the part where I guess he tried using a multi like four times and I had no idea what he was even saying. This being said, I don't believe captain's strongsuit is pronunciation. He only sounds mildly enthusiastic throughout most of his verse.

The other's flow came in very hard. Much more powerful than his opponent's verse as far as cadence and pronouncing shit goes. I felt like he delivered his content more like an actual battle verse; old school with it. Not much more to say here. I believe he has this category in the bag.

Lyrics: I feel like captain's lyrics sounded really awesome at some parts. But I'm really sadened by the fact that I simply couldn't understand what the hell he was even saying sometimes because I truely feel like he may have had some very powerful punches in his shit. One thing though was that it was super awkward how he shouts out to his crew then starts off the verse by bashing his leader. "Seul don't devour the beef he clatters his teeth." like uh... okay. I feel like there's something I'm not getting here while at the same time I also feel like that is also not my fault as I'm only giving my honest feedback based on listening to both of these verses over and over again.

D3FIANCE was violent as fuck. His punchlines was a lot easier to make out, even when he spitted lyrics at a fast pace. I also really enjoyed the wordplay he incorporated in his verse. This dude's bars were raw and considering how I couldn't understand gut at times due to poor delivery I couldn't make out some of his shit. So for that reasons I have to vote on the verse with the most punchlines I was able to makeout. 

Ultimately, I conclude my vote by choosing D3FIANCE for his aggressive flow and violent verse. I was going to give gutpunch 7 but felt that he deserved more credibility than just that, not that it really matters anyways...
