So the thing here is that the winner's lyricism here is second to none, but it's important to remember that there is more to a battle than clever wordplay. There is certainly something to be desired regarding the winner's mic presence, and in a battle one must remember they are there to attack the opponent. As for the loser, a lot more weight is placed on who goes second because you have the option for personal attacks. Self-hype only goes so far and you are here to dismantle your opponent.
