A few contentions to be made here. 1. if it was prepared there wouldn't be stumbles and it wouldn't be off tempo at times - these are not qualities of something that is pre done and has infinite possible attempts. 2. sniping implies challenging an opponent of lesser skill for an easy win. I respect Kadog as a battler and don't consider him to be an easy win by any measure. 3. Don't accuse me of not honoring the battle parameters and then say "good battle" it's a backhanded compliment and it's disrespectful. I' m more than happy to accept any challenge and I have free-styled with this community live. I am capable, and I take the art seriously. I take what I said back about respecting you as a battler. You got something to say then say it in a battle, bud. If you win you'll claim it as an earnest victory, and if you lose you'll claim it as a written. The truth is you should be focusing on how to better your own craft so that the two can't be distinguished. Maybe if you didn't live in a world where everyone who raps better or votes against you is in some kind of conspiracy you'll actually get better as an artist. One had a bit more mic presence while the other had some better scheming... punches were about equal with maybe a lean towards response with the flips, YET (2.) I appreciate the people who supported me in this battle, even if I disagree with the result. I think it's a fairly detestable situation that votes can be levied for a line, or "lines" being too good. A battle vote should be based on the quality present. Period. My verse wasn't perfect, nor was it even delivered perfectly, but it certainly is saying something that even if it HAD been I'd have been punished even more severely for "writing my content." This sets a dangerous precedent where we as a community are supposed to cater to verses that seem more raw and clunky. That's whack, man. Kadogg, I refuse your offer to collaborate, because I refuse to work with someone who not only dismisses the hard work I put into improving my craft, but accuses me of literally cheating to win.
