Damn... Not this shit AGAIN.. My wife max’d out her 4th Credit card.. when it will it END? Does she really think I got this much money to SPEND?! Bout a year ago, used to know a guy in the hero role Daughter sick, needed money but was nowhere near the goal Several hundred thousand, insurance wouldn't cover the cost Rare condition affecting women where you struggle to talk And strokes can strike at any time to muddle your thoughts Girl got the same disease to which her mother was lost So this was a battle he'd been fighting for generations Talked to him, lemme repeat some tender statements "My little girl is my world, my princess, my love and my life No matter how I keep her alive, I've done something right" He even took a second mortgage to help their shortage But couldn't keep up with payments and what that meant was horrid He got more jobs to work, even though he was full time Waited tables, sold door to door, anything to pull dimes He was never home, and his daughters condition got worse Which meant another surgery, an additional curse She'd had previous episodes but this was the worst Afterwards she would need a permanent residual nurse The last straw, so as the dad gnawed to make ends meet Eviction and bankruptcy loomed knowing that they'd been beat At his wits end he came to me with an awful secret Said he knew how to end the woes and stop the sequence Asked me if I would take be ok to care of his daughter Told him of course, buddy, I could share in the bother But I didn't quite understand the reality of the request The truth of what he was asking me for a big test His tone was somber which should have given off the intent But I was being naive and somewhere lost what he meant A week later he was dead, girl left with me my wife and nurses A strange accident, the cause made me slightly nervous Clear negligence at first I couldn't seem to find a purpose Till word came the girl got millions in life insurance Comment Only

This was dope fellas! Felt both used the topic well and put together a nice story. The downfall of the loser's verse was the choppy rhyming at points. But he did I feel stayed closer to the topic than the winner. But.. I felt the winner's story was more appealing and had you locked in, waiting to see what happened while the other's outcome was a little predictable.
