Acapella is the only true battle format. Idk why acapella (or custom) even exists. Should be an option for both. And freestyle is a myth. I dont write, ive been battling for 10 years, when i spit bars or some lyrics in my mind transverse into my battle. As does everyone. Written is when you sit there and write a verse and take time to build up premeditated schemes. My shit was off the top, using a cookie cutter to add professionalism. I would rather my audience be captivated by a well rounded verse, than partake in one of these GARBAGE "freestyles" that sound like an autistic e-thug doing a jay-z impersonation. (Talkin bout no one in particular, just in general.) Also im battling random opponents, he has the advantage of knowing my name and verse to do name flips and premeditate. The person who puts out the battle has a handicap. GB philcat, I liked your shit, but would respected a true aca verse than a beat. Comment Only
