Smh. I really wanted to vote against RULE cuz that fucking accent still does me. But I guess judging the battle on the accent alone would be completely unfair. Soup; Shame your mic was a little quiet but that's not your fault, I think you're a little rusty but you still dropped a solid verse, I think some of your material may have gone over peoples heads a bit, seen better from you but shake off the rust and I don't doubt you'll be taking out heavyweights soon enough. Aight presence and cadence was definitely a deciding factor here. Soup: you had some ight lines but they never really hit due to the mic levels. The delivery didn't sound too bad but you did have issues with the flow and structure here and there as well as when you started to mumble n drift out towards the very end. And you can't do that because the end is the MOST crucial part of a battle. That's where you Leave that haymaker to sit in the listeners head. That's ya marker. Your accent was mad Mancish, which I liked. lol. Speaking of accents. Rule: You definitely hit a lot harder for me. The accent wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Not as bad as V made it out to be but the accent did make me laugh when you came in like BOOM! lol but the Longer it went the more I got into it. I do wish you would at least try for 1 battle to embrace your natural accent though. Just so you have your own true identity as a Bristol boy. I mean you can use a twang for certain parts just to switch it up like I do. But there is a fine line between coming across as creative when doing it and sounding forced. And right now you're in the latter category.But Getting away from that, you had some genuine hitting lines like the crouton line and for the most part you rode the beat comfortably. I think that's because you stuck to a more formulaic structure geared for a more conventional punch style. I'm short you played it safe and it payed off this time. Any votes in. One obviously had a little volume trouble, but I've taken that out of the picture to be fair... when it comes down to lyrics, one had the concepts and punchlines that hit their opponent harder in the context of a freestyle battle.
