Nice spar here gents. I swear O_G style just seems effortless. Grizz the rust well and truly gone, some bangers here. This super close, went with a fewstandout bars. 1/

Relatively close but I got Grizz with more punches and better ones from start to finish. I fuck with OG's style overall but I feel he wasn't as consistent as Grizz from start to finish. Closer was your best bar of the battle imo. Grizz started out good and was able to maintain that level for the majority of his verse. Purchase receipt bar was your best one imo. Good battle. Fair's in.

This saw a real clash of styles. OG came with a flurry of jabs but none of them were given the build-up and time to develop into a game-changer. GRizzEAT on the other hand brought some jabs but mostly haymakers, altho issues with setup and wording prevented any of them from being a knockout blow.

Ultimately OG could have won with the "flurry of jabs" style if every line had been clean and focussed, however there were too many sections that felt like filler and/or self-hype (especially the opening 2 lines and the vortex line), although this can be really effective in audio or live battling (or in a longer text format) in a 16 where you needed to keep up a barrage of jabs they really cost you. Add to that minor wording issues ("you bout to get throne from my site" doesn't make sense) that held back some of your key punches and that was what I made my decision on here. I thought that cleanly-executed jabs like the forceps line and the African war dress line were your best. If your verse had been all bars like these (with fewer played concepts) you would have won here.

GRizzEAT your verse started off very well. Your first few bars were your best, with no big issues in the set-ups, and you started with a string of one-liners before moving onto your BOTB with the receipt punch. The keeping it cool line was also pretty smooth. From there is when it started to get messy. Referring to weddings as "I do exchanges" seemed reachy, but I was willing to accept it I guess, but "O-shin views stable on the board" is something that I just do not understand. I get what the two meanings are supposed to be, and it makes sense as far as the Nipsey Hussle song meaning goes, but "O-shin views stable on the board" just doesn't make grammatical or logical sense to me in the "x-ray of OG's broken leg" sense. This ruined what had been a nice-flowing well-built-up-to punch here. The rest of the verse basically followed the same pattern, and so none of the last half of your verse really hit hard at all for me. Nonetheless, your first half was enough to edge you through for me.

Expo: Glocks are kalled Glizzys where im from. Nipsey Hussle had a hit song kalled Ocean Views. Good luck fam.

Low 7 to high 7. OG has some good lines. Most of the punches were solid but I feel at times, there wasn't much impact behind a few of them. I just think the creativity in some of them were lacking a bit. Still a solid verse overall. I think the highlights picked up some of the slack for the lows but not all of it. African war dress was a solid bar. & Grizz- I feel for the most part, your concepts were good, also had solid build up, some build ups were a bit longer than needed but the punches at the end conceptually were above par. There's was a bar or two I wasn't feeling but that was due to not being as fresh as the rest of the verse. The purchase receipt concept was dope. Overall, good battle. I think one conceptually was better here and that's who my vote goes to. Good luck fellas.

Hard choice here. I felt like grizzed opener comparing guns to dicks and sayin him and his homies gunna yank it took away from what was a great opener.

Yall both snapped. damn.. I'd leave an Expo for my vote, but god damn, it would be like a 3 page novel. 

pretty great verses from btoh similar styles too really packin da hits there. OG was just really good w da wp and and got a easy flow but got a tough stylr grozzeat good on lots of punches and just keeping itgangsta all t way thru so i respect dat. very close battle but i feel one edged it a bit. fv no h8 ...keep at it guys

My loser was a good basic drop. Consistent and pulling them carefully. Landing some pretty good blows. But they didn't stick or hit hard enough for me like the winner. My winner came with what seemed like a mercy killing. Precise and swift with the multies. I say mercy because Iv seen Grizz do worse to underdogs. Classic type of battle here. I see Letsbeef isn't dead. My first vote since being gone over a year. Glad to be back and seeing hope being restored.
