Not a bad spar here. Blight had better punches by miles, altho CakedOut's verse here had quite a nice flow to it.

Blight every bar you had here was basically the same – one line of filler and then one punchline. Try to carry the setup of the punch across both lines (or sometimes switch it up with a one-two punch) so that your structure is less repetitive, and also because that'll help your punches land better. The pop and sparkle line was probably your weakest in that the more I thought about it, the less sense it made; I thought your charades line was bar of the battle.

CakedOut, your flow was nice and you took an unconventional approach with the whole narrative thing. It was an interesting route to go down, but I think you really needed to integrate more punches into the narrative for it to be effective here. Also watch that your multies work – in your last bar the syllables are "in a crash site (4)/when I flash light (4)/set in the sky (4)/guess that slipped ya mind (5)" so there's a clear mismatch, and when you're relying on flow over punches that can kill your whole verse. If you can build from here to use the same narrative style but with punchlines throughout you could be onto something dangerous though.

i think this was a blind open which cake underestimated here and it cost him dearly lol pretty tight verse from blight who obviously is a multi, every bar was a successful punch while cakes only seemed close to his real stuff with his opener.

High 5 to low 5. Creativity took this battle. Ones verse was nuch more creative and thought out than his opponents. Punches were felt more as well. I think the other needs to add more creativity to his boxes and add more wow to his punches.
