Good spar here. I'm leaning towards Grizz because his ideas were more creative, as well as executed better in my opinion. Sub, your drop wasn't bad and would have gotten the job done if you were facing a decent opponent, but Grizz had a higher punch count and hit punches hit harder. Bar of the battle was from Grizz when he said: he dont "come in & bring FIRE TO THA TEAM".. pfft, outside of Murda if "Sub in tha game" its cause a "Star player's TIRED N FATIGUED & tha other GUYS ARE IN THA LEAD"! This was a great punchline, although the opening bar was hard to understand from a relevance standpoint, the bar still hit hard and set the tone. Fair is in.

i think sub really started well infact a lil better than grizz coz his opener was the kinda opener i would prefer using in a 16 but then kinda lost steam towards the end as did griz too a lil but it was still a little better at the end with his stuff while sub's best line was the yearook one i felt grizz's best was his opener slightly leaning with grizz here.

I think grizz was trying to son him with his verse. A line or two would've been fine but he got carried away with it. The beginning and end were the highlights. The off the bench line was pretty solid but I wasn't feelin the booze line all that much in the middle. Youre verse seemed to stay more personal with crew relations. Sub had the more unique concepts but I don't feel the capitalization was there. I think if the set up wording would've been better this battle would've had a different outcome. Your closer was the lowlight with reference to mumble rappers. Overall it was still a good battle but I think one did more with what he designed here. Good luck to both.

Grizz, I was thrown right off by the rhyming. King / Team will always be a stretch, but I suppose when you throw King out there after a long scheme I'd maybe catch it. But here's it's the first two multis, which really killed the flow.

I was disappointed in thhe actual concepts. Two sub nameplays, one of which I got called out on being played during a 32 line scheme battle, so 33% of your 8 liner being the submissive line is gonna be a stretch.

You also are so heavy on gun shit. We're writing rhymes into a box in online rap battling. Even if you do shoot guns irl I'm not gonna think writing about it is any less corny.

Subreal, you really stretched thhe GOT HIS HANDS SOLDERING HOOKS bit. You had a good job at attempting to make that into a punch which was comendable, but it was still evident. I think you would do better maybe not trying the 1-2 punch also trying to get a mini punch in the set up. It really means the whole actual punch is only half a line in length, which is hard to impact. "Runnin out the lines" really could have been delivered as "runnin out of lines" which would have been so much cleaner. 

You too had an off rhyme for me with perceiving / sending. The last two lines were a big letdown on the first two for me. I really liked the idea of the first, and the yearbook photo was delivered brilliantly. The clemency request line got my dumbass cause I had to google clemency, while the last line was clearly a complete throwaway.

Overall, I have a clear winner. Sub had 4 punches to Grizz 3. Grizz had multiple times where the rhyming was off (tool / booze is another) and Sub's first two punches were better than anything Grizz had anyways.

Kinda close but I got Grizz winning this one with what I felt was BOTB with his opener. Simple idea but was written pretty well. Both had some issues with their rhyming (DOWN ON MY SON/DOMINANT ONE and Sub with perCIEVING IT IN DEPTH/SENDING ME IS FRESH). Sub I liked the yearbook photo line. Fresh spin on that idea. Close one but I got a winner.

Grizz was more creative then sub with the wordplay which really edged it for me. Although sub had some solid punches, but the wordplay was simplistic compared to Grizz. FV
