Damn nice spar fellas. Close so ima have to break it down. Grizz the 4th wall opener was cracky. Slip knot was just ok. lynch mod was decent. flea market was dopeeee. Hot opener and closers with an average middle.  Rican opener was cracky but the end pucn coulda been executed better. quantum leap was dope. kwanzaa feast was dope too. dracula box was flat for me. Overall: This is real close. It almost comes down to bar placement, i feel like Rican had one more hit than Grizz, but Grizz hit where it counted most. Close ass battle but my fair is in. 1/

Got Grizz taking this with the better worded verse from top to bottom. Best punches were the sitcom one and the lynch mob one. Pretty decent verse, but nothing eye-popping. Rican you had some decent ideas but wording was your downfall here. No one calls food "eat" (at least I'd hope they wouldn't), and you had two similar instances of that in your verse. I've seen a lot better from you before than that, so I'm hoping you get that corrected.

This honestly a tough one to call. It's Grizz's opening bar and ending bar, his Yeah quick 1-2 style vs Ricans more thoubht out, buiit up bars. Ricans ending i wasn't feeling. Rican ran nicely tha quantomleap bar and then the follwoing kwanzaa feast. After that, i feel he trailed off. Grizo' was strong at the start and tha end, middle needed tightening up. Gotta go with what i felt hit tha most.

This shit Was Close But MVGT Grizzo For a More focused and Smoother Verse. Reek Was HARD but had a Line Or Two that I felt Was Forced and couple have hit Harder Like that Kwanzaa Line. Still Impressive. Fairs in. #GangShit

I have Grizz taking this, but barely. Grizz, you've been here long enough to know not to repeat a scheme within the same scheme-set. Not sure if it was a typo or deliberate, but that hurt your opening. What saved it was the next line/finisher: u dont "know tha ropes", u'll get killed if you "SLIP.. (K)NOT" BOOSTING!! - This, combined with your Sitcom Viewing line made for a great opener. You didn't even need the second Grizz Not Shooting hit in there tbh. The bar would have flowed better collectively. Also, the rest of your verse was well-rounded too. The only criticism I had was that scheme. There were some wording issues, but not so obvious or offensive that they hurt you too much. Rican, your drop was nice as well, but it wasn't your best work. You were honestly the favorite in my opinion, but I think you drew the scheme out too much. Shorter schemes have to be extra creative to compensate for A) the new norm and acceptability of longer multies being received as more creative/complex, and B) shorter multies meaning there's simply more content you have to put in the box because your schemes aren't taking up as much space as a longer one would. With that being said, the fact that you had a lot of filler hurt you here, because with you needing to have creativeness head and shoulders above your opponent, that in turn means filler is your enemy. It came off as tiny jab, tiny rhyme, tiny rhyme, tiny rhyme, tiny jab, and it never really picked up momentum. Like I said, you're usually better than what you dropped here, but as far as these two verses are concerned, I'm going with Grizz.

Not a bad spar. Felt both could of used harder hitting punches. This battle comes down to creativity to me and i was le'ning with grizz a little more with his opener. Fair is tossed fellas.

I have Grizz edging this and not by much. 7.0 to 7.2. Grizz had some solid lines. The sitcom opener was good but the following bar seemed repetitive with the grizz not shooting reference being recycled. The rest of the verse made up for it. Best line IMO was the flea market line. I feel Ricans concepts were better but the potential wasn't achieved. The Dracula closer didn't do it for me but the Quantum Leap line was pretty dope. This was pretty even when compared to each other. Both had highs and lows and i expect to see votes for both contestants. My vote just goes to whom I feel stayed consistent the best and whom I thought capitalized on the potential of his concepts. Good luck to both.

man this was a good battle coz it had two old heads going at each other and one of them felt ike he never seen rust inspite of a long gap and the other not at his best at all imo. the sitcom viewing and the closer from Grizz were definitiley the BOTBs for me while Rican had a few good swings but wasn'tas conceptually fresh and unpredictable (other than the opener) as grizz here, i would like to see a rematch for sure but this was a good show by grizz.
