This was a very solid spar and I found it a difficult decision to make voting. In the end I gave it to KingVA for having better rhyming and sticking to a nice scheme.

KingVA I really liked the flow in your verse and I felt all your bars were quite consistent in quality. Nothing really stood out, although I thought your "vacuum cleaners" line was your best. Try to work on having stronger punches by doing more work to set them up, so as in building up to the punch for an entire bar with wordplay/double entendres etc.

TonganKidd I thought you had the botb with the MLK line, but I think you were let down in too many places with basic mistakes. For instance, "Charles the First/Part of a search" can't rhyme because the first one has 3 syllables and the second has 4 syllables. It's basic mistakes like this that cost you the win here, always make sure your rhymes have the same number of syllables and fix up the flaws in your verse so that your best bars can take you through.

I was feeling KingVA a little more in this battle. I think you both had wording issues, using wording that wouldn't normally occur in regular conversation, which to me takes away from a verse. In KingVA's case, it is more understandable given that he used longer multi-syllables and maintain the same scheme throughout. That's harder to do than what TonganKidd displayed while maintaining clean wording. I would advise you both to avoid saying weird shit just to rhyme with something else that you said. If you can't find something normal-sounding that rhymes, use a different scheme. The punches weren't too heavy in this battle. I'd give KingVA a little credit for maintaining relevancy of concept at the beginning of his verse. TonganKidd kind of stayed on that "king" tip but nothing really hit hard and some of the metaphors were lackluster. You both have potential. Keep working on your craft. Fair is tossed.
