This was a solid round with some nice bars from both here. However, some flaws with execution really held both battlers back in a few places. I gave this to GG because I felt he had a few more haymakers and fewer small flaws holding him back.

GG, I really liked your opener. The wordplay worked both ways, and the punch was nice. The next line, tho, had problems, mainly that "dysfunctioned" is not a word. The biggest reason this hurt your bar was that it clearly showed you were making shit up and bending the english language just to fit a multi set, which really made it feel so much less natural, and ruined what was actually a pretty sick punch. I thought your Dr Strange bar was well-executed and with the set-up carried over multiple lines which was nice. Your next punch was mostly good, although the last multi felt really off for me. Specifically, "did/film" just really didn't work for me, idk if that's just me tho cos they seem like they should mesh. The scantron bar I also really felt and I thought it was well-executed, and then your closer was botb, with the setup across multiple lines, and a well-schemed multi brought it home nicely.

Cel, your opener was well-executed, but there wasn't really a single, well-made concept landing the punch, it just felt like a few light jabs. That was totally fine, although maybe it would have helped to start off your verse off with a solid punch. Your next bar was well-schemed and executed again, but again lacked a single, well set-up concept (and tbh "pussy/cat" is possibly the single stalest wordplay ever) which meant that the entire first third of your verse or so had gone without any hard-hitting punches landing. The next bar was more effective, your punch was much more original and effective and the scheming really brought it home. One thing that just detracted from it a bit was having "read" repeated in two consecutive multies in the same spot in the multi both times, made it seem lazy even tho the scheme was clearly dope. Your next punch again landed well and didn't have any flaws with execution I could see, although it wasn't set up enough to be a haymaker. Your next few bars I didn't get until I saw the expo, but they came off reasonably well and were among your best. Your closer was probably your best bar, although again the set-up wasn't as well-done as I would have liked I think it worked both ways and the flow with those multies was something I could really feel and in my head at least it was really effective.

Overall, a quality battle, but GG landed more killer blows and had fewer flaws holding him battle. Good battle!

Feel like GOOD's creativity in his punches and how he wrote them was better than Cel here. Scantron test line was fresh, and the BOTB for me. Cel you had some good moments but had some iffy rhyming (HACKED, LEFT SPOOKED was forced to me) and some bars that kinda fell flat (pussy/no cat food was meh, to me. You're more creative than that). Traffic stop line was easily your best line. Not a bad spar fellas. Fair is in.

Expo: Cellulite is fat in the body that’s taken out during Liposuction work. Dr Strange moves his hands in a ring to create portals, scarlet Johansson plays Natasha romanoff (black widow avengers). Dorothy clapped her red heels together 3 times to go home, blah blah

hard battle to choose because I really liked celsius style a lot it reminds me of angles I would take but I feel like good grief had better wordplay overall and took every line seriously where celsius had great concepts but dont think it hit every line like grief. 

very dope battle boys i think it was mad close bit grief edged it with the word play.. keep it up

GG opener was dope, cellulite was played af, the dorothy line would have been good but FILM didn't rhyme with the rest of the multie which really took from the delivery. I liked the romanoff wordplay to close. 

Cel you seemed rusty here, there was a fair amount of filler & some really played nameflips. I'm sure you'll come back strong with some warm-up matches but it cost you here.

Very good match up...winner had more consistent punches and a tad bit more creativity.. opponent: more fluid, better structures and solid multis. It was difficult, but decided to go with the winner...who I thought had more sting. GB VB

GOD DAMN!!!! These two are both in the crew GOAT and it fucking showed! 🔥🔥🔥 But yeah, I've got to choose a winner, and GOOD GRIEF's punches were just ridiculous here. In a good way. Dude was coming with these back-to-back lines that were FLAWLESSLY executed and clever as fucking shit. Celsius, no disrespect aimed to you because YOU were swinging heavy hit after heavy hit too! But the verse didn't have the same consistent WOW factor that GOOD GRIEF had here. This is one of those battles where it's hard to call a loser but I've got my winner. Respect to both for damned near melting my monitor!

Damn this was a really dope read, ultimately I thought GG was more creative with his flips, and to be honest, I was impressed with his verse, some fire shit. I felt like Cel's bars were not set up with same creativity as GG's. Although he did have some hits for sure, I really liked the active cops punch, but I gotta go with GG on consistency. Refreshing read yall - good battle. Fairs in.

This was a close one for me, but my winner took this with better set ups to his punches. I thought they were more clever then the others. imo. Dope battle yo. Fv
