As scheme battles go, this is one of the hardest schemes I've seen used. I think that adversely affected both writers' ability to showcase their punches, which made this battle a bit less enjoyable to read than I was expecting.

Guts your verse had a couple of great highlights, but mostly suffered from wording and logic issues which likely stemmed from the difficulty of the scheme. The Pandora's box bar was actually very dope and possibly the botb, it made sense logically, although the punch was kind of in reverse order of normal it still made me smile. However, this was immediately followed by a very difficult line to read. Firstly, I didn't really get what the camel's back line had to do with anything else. I know its a figure of speech, but I had no idea what the figure of speech was in reference to, it felt just kind of put in there because it rhymed. Secondly, "straw'd" really confused me. The only thing that would work as far as syllable number+rhyme and actually grammatical and logical sense here is "straw that", but I don't see how "straw'd" is a contraction of that. I gave you the benefit of the doubt that its just not something I've come across before, but while I was reading it it really threw me and lost my flow from what had been a pretty good beginning to the verse. Your closer also confused me. It wasn't a punch, you basically just literally said "Shodan isn't a Nazi he's Jewish". This doesn't really seem like an insult; I think talking about Shodan fronting like a Nazi had the capacity to be a well-worked personal, but would have needed a lot more space and also to have worked an actual insult into it.

Shodan your verse was essentially two three-line punches, with all of the set-up to the actual punch occurrring in the final line of each. I know scheming places less emphasis on punches, but your whole verse had literally two instances of an attempt at punching, neither of which was close to being a haymaker, which really hurt your chances here. Your wording and logic were clear and fluid throughout and you worked the scheme well, and overall your verse was executed very very well, but the sparseness of the punchlines was your biggest flaw. I wouldn't say any individual lines were high- or low- lights for you here, although your closer has begun to grow on me as I get more familiar with it.

Overall I decided to give this to Shodan. Both textcees handled a tough scheme reasonably well, although neither verse was great. Shodan's flowed much more clearly in both a logical sense and in its wording. Guts had more going on conceptually, but failed to execute his ideas into proper punches.

the difference in this battles was basically that guts was decent with dope multis while shodan was decent too but had a dope punch esp with that spam line which still has me LMAOin. Pretty much the BOTB, liked the way shodan used the personals here which kinda earned him the win for me here, also he did make me lol here unlike his verse against edge in the funny tourney.

I originally wrote my verse in this battle for Rai, who is the LBT champ. Hence why I called guts an LBT champ, even though he isn't.

Even tho Shodan had a bar in here that was clearly meant for Rai, the scheming was just worlds apart here. Guts didn’t read smooth at all and felt really rough and clunky at every multi. Shodan was much smoother with the scheme. Just liked Shodans punches more as well, even subtracting that one punch. 

Botb- Cattle Ranch.

Vote: Shodan gets this for having a easier-to-follow verse. I felt like g u t s didn’t really get his set-ups to connect to his punches, for example, what is a gats? What does it have to do with a fedora? The set-up was also quite lazy imo for that line too. Needs an expo. The Pandora line was nice, but seemed like it existed to add depth in wordplay and metaphors to the verse, instead of destroying the opponents, and in my opinion, the goal of a rap battle should be to destroy your opponent as creatively as possible, and while the creativity is there, I don’t feel like any of the lines hit hard enough for me to consider them hard punches. Neither had any broken multi’s, and both had multi’s that were 10 syllables long. Shodan had the better punchlines imo, with the coward line hitting the hardest. Imo both really went for creativity over destructiveness which... I actually really dislike. Both had some nice jabs though, but I think Shodan had the better punchlines.

My choice had better readability and bars hit harder but I personally don't like gay bars ... I used to do them but now I don't because they're very pause-worthy ... Maybe that's just me, though
