Got Rai taking this with harder punches and the scheming which he's known for doing. Wedding cake designer bar was BOTB, imo. Felt guts had a few good hits (underwater mines bar was good), but felt his rhyming wasn't as good and had some wording issues in his setups that Rai didn't have.

This was a decent matchup, though the winner for me had better setups leading to the stronger punch. I think the loser here had some fresh ideas, but the setups were just too bland for the most part and bar for bar was just not enough for the W. Votes In

the link between the set up and the punch was so weak it was almost not there, same with the wordplay and metaphor too, kinda rushed feeling here esp in the second line, you could have poured more thought into framing that one better, decent and veteran level slant multis for a change here but 3/5

multis faltered at n and we, rest was good, pup snarls are cute so kinda not really digging the set up here and the concept seemed rushed and forced again all over. 1.75/5

Overall - 9.75/20(48.75) over all an average drop something which is not expected from you plus you had zero personals almost felt like u just dropped this verse for the heck of it.

revolver ain't a sniper gun firstly, that makes the set up feel let down dyers bit was good and decent, okayish finish to a better verse 3/5

Overall - 12.75/20 (63.75) a much more complete battle verse here, few lows here and there technically but that more than made room for by the highs which were dope coz of the personal angles they had in them. all in all this did match the expectations too.

Rai get this one fairly and easily for imo coz his verse reflected the amount of thought and he put into it and almost every line in it had a certain value potential best 8 of the year here atleast for me.

Guts - high 6

Rai - High 8

Punchline wise? This was pretty close. In a vacuum atleast. But then, when you factor in the set ups both in their wording and in the multi selection, Rai is ahead by a solid amount. Plus overall readibility Rai just felt smoother. Ultimately then that gives him the edge in the battle.
