BelizeanKH was simply outclassed by Ginge, who was more experienced and thus had stronger, more and better-executed punches.

BelizeanKH you seem not to take criticism well so I'll try to spell out exactly how and why I thought you lost.

Firstly, you didn't fill the box. Even if you were writing at the same or a slightly higher quality than Ginge, he had 2-3 times more content than you; and given that you decided to make the battle 16 bars this meant you were always going to lose. I get that filling the box seems weird when you first get here, but make sure you correct this in future.

Secondly, Ginge's rhyming was leagues ahead of yours. The clearest and best example of multi-syllable rhyming I found in your verse was the "fake tripping/fake chicken/great mission/Blake Griffin" scheme. This was good and you should always try to rhyme syllables like this; but Ginge's multies were significantly longer and more complex than yours. His weakest scheme was probably "be nasty/Bnas steez" which is still three syllables so it was as long as yours and also avoided reusing the same word (fake); given that all of his other multies and schemes were much longer than this it showed he was clearly well ahead of you rhyming-wise.

Thirdly, on a conceptual level Ginge was ahead of you. Your opener actually had a reasonably cool punch but aside from that your verse lacked much conceptual strength. Ginge's bars tended to do one of two things. Either, they would combine to tell a well-built narrative over several bars (like the first half or so of his verse did), or used similes, metaphors and wordplay to build clever punches. For instance, the "make like Elvis" punch you seem to have a big issue with: "making like X" is very common vernacular meaning "do what X does". A very well-known phrase is "Elvis has left the building". Therefore the punch Ginge has is basically a creative way of saying gtfo while also using a simile regarding something from pop culture. Lines of yours like the Blake Griffin line were like this but there weren't as many of them, they weren't as well rhymed and you didn't build up and execute the punch as well.

BelizeanKH even if you think the way voters on this site judge things isn't the way you would do it, the best way to improve yourself is to adapt to new styles. At least try to adapt your writing, for the challenge if nothing else. Also, don't expect text batttling to be the same as live battling. The formats are so wildly different it makes sense for the judging criteria to be different too.

Ginge I'm sorry I don't have much help to give you here, you obviously weren't trying your best but you still dropped a pretty entertaining verse. The spermatazoa line was botb in my opinion. Thanks for continuing to write lines that are enjoyable to read, and sorry for making you read through such a long vote expo to get to such minimal feedback at the end lmao

Loser of this battle had some decent material but not enough because they did not fill up the box completly as this drastically reduces the odds of winning, though, I did enjoy the delivery of the submitted verse and some of the content. In this case the winner simply had more content than his opponent did with a higher, more thought out punch count and experiance to the site

Vote: Easy win for Ginge. Ginge actually attempted punchlines, had multi’s, better formatting, and had decent metaphors with high vocabulary. Belizean brought in a typical “newbie” verse, with a typical “newbie knows all” attitude. He has no clue what a proper punchline is, didn’t fill the box, basic af multi’s, and didn’t set-anything up. Easy win here for Ginge. Though Ginge didn’t have a very good verse, I won’t give him any advice as he knows what the fuck he’s doing.

BelizeanKH: Here’s some advice for a rookie, from a rookie. 1: Don’t talk shit unless you got the fire to back it up. Trust me, you don’t want to do it. Some of these guys have been here for 10+ years honing their skills. 2: If you think you’re being biasedly voted against, your not, your just not as good as you think you are. I had this also happen to me a shit ton of times. I’ve been voted against and destroyed for verses that I thought could’ve been the best I’ve ever written, turns out I could’ve wrote better material. 3: Learn the difference between a punch and a diss. A diss is a one off insult, but a punch has a set-up and all. 4: Good Multis are 4-6 words long. 5: Lines are judged by character count, not by actual lines. 6: You have potential, don’t waste it by having your head up your ass like
