Both did well to bring solid 16s, but I felt Korvus was comfortably ahead here on punchlines, rhyming and just general cohesion in their verse.

Lyric Hound you had a lot of rhymes but they were often slant rhymes or just assonance, which meant they were hard to spot. Try to CAPITALISE your rhyming syllables but do not capitalise words that aren't a part of the rhyme. Also try to have a longer multi-syllable-rhyme scheme instead of single or double syllable rhymes. 3+ syllables is something to aim for in every rhyme.

Korvus I thought this was actually quite a great verse. I thought it was a really high six, which I rounded up to a 7 because you'd gone to the effort of a 16-bar verse. I thought you started off a bit averagely but really continually built momentum, clarity and hard-hittingness. I thought your Pearl Harbour line was maybe the botb, and your closer was also very dope. To improve your effectiveness even more, try to maintain one concept of wordplay over multiple lines and bars. So for instance, stick with the Pearl Harbour punch, build it up with a variety of set-up across a whole line or more and then do the flip of the punch; it means you can land haymakers instead of just a combo of jabs and crosses.

Loser seems to be just starting out.  Some practice and observation of how we conduct battling on here would do him quite well. I think he was capping punches,  but they weren't really punches, they were just references relating to a subject from an earlier line

Korvus verse whas skilled and creative commons with the raps some techniques with the rhymes and was enough for a winning verse gb,:

Lyric - weak rhymes set ups and punches. BAM BOOM CRACK SNAP made me really uncomfortable. Gotta do more than rhyme here. 

Korvus - had some better lines and mulies on piont. Could use some harder punches and better execution. Other that that decent verse

this was a hard one for me good battle from both sides but im weighin in more to korvus who took the win with a little more off top for the taking
