Overall I thought this was a really solid battle. I just felt a couple of nine’s bars really stood out to me a bit more. I thought the lawn chair bar was quite solid and the botb for me as it stood out the most in my mind. Spike’s closer was pretty nice too, although didn’t hit too hard for me. One thing for both to work on is their creativity. The Mueller Report line and the Spider-Man meme one we’re both quite original, but that aside many of the concepts were already quite familiar and it was harder to find fresh ways to spin them. Good battle!

978, good verse, u stayin elevatin, really liked da lawn chair line and ice cream truck was solid, my only bit of advice is to try to make the setups relevant to the punches so they're thematically similar or one leads organically onto the other, we all guilty of it but stuff like go hard wit the savage hits is purely settin up a rhyme innit, also dont be afraid 2 uncap within da multi string the bits that dont rhyme, would've been spot on like : FOLD IN THE YARD like a LAWN CHAIR, despite da criticism, rlly good drop and a rare entertainin read

like spike, solid drop as well, i think u got good structure, sometimes a bit 2 much between the rhymes stuntin da smoothness of da read. I think da best tool in your arsenal wud be editin, like bein willin to cut out decent ideas in favour of startin fresh, cause wile u had sum good ideas da punches didnt land 2 heavy for me

I preferred spike's execution here because his multis were more "precise" whereas 978's were longer but didn't flow well enough to make up for it. However, I thought 978's punches were more clever, even though they weren't the most complex and could have been executed a lot better. Punches usually beat out execution for me. Fair's in.

Honestely 'rhyme' and 'nine' go together like 'cheese' and 'knee'. I know exactly who won this one, because their hits made more sense.
