Overall I thought this was a good battle with two reasonably clean and effective verses. However, nine7eight's verse was held back by a couple of factors, and Ginge's had some better punches in there, so I thought Ginge was the clear winner.

Firstly, several of nine7eight's multies seemed a bit stretched to me. "Better child/headed down" doesn't really rhyme without some Relapse-level accents, especially when "better child" is being said in a way to rhyme with "pedophile/dead awhile". I thought this took away from your execution and from the effectiveness of the bar. Also, the majority of your verse was basically on the theme of "Ginge is gay". Being gay is not in and of itself an insult. Your better child/pedophile bar was your best bar imo because it actually formulated a hard punch, whereas the bars before were just general vague homophobia mixed with generic insults. If you are familiar with No Vaseline by Ice Cube, the diss claims the NWA are homosexual and then uses that claim to formulate a strong, hard-hitting narrative about them taking dick from their managers. That is an example of gay punches actually being used effectively, which I think would have made your verse a lot harder-hitting.

Ginge your verse had a couple of minor issues but was overall pretty good. Your final bar (closet homo/quasimodo/what a low blow) didn't really punch imo for the same reasons I discussed in nine7eight's verse around being gay not actually being a punch. However, most of the rest of your verse was very smooth. I thought the "couple o' swingers" & "starving aids patients" were the two botbs.

978, I felt you were inconsistent here, opener was funny but lacked sting. The 2nd bar was nice, I liked it. 3rd bar landed with little impact, could've been executued better. Closer was nice. This defos wasn't your best work, but you had some highlights in this verse. I just thought some of the links you made weren't relevant to what you were trying to go for.

Ginge, you opener didn't really land for me. Second bar was funny though. Bar about his parents was dope, think that was the one that took it for me. Evening of passion was also nice, closer was okay but not too impactful. I thought you were much more consistent here with better execution. You had more highs than lows which took it for me.

I felt both verses.  Ginge just connected better with me based on complexity. I felt his multis were better and his scheme was more structured. 978 was also dope. Almost too close to call

Tough call. 978 was impressive as always, But Ginge had an overall better scheme and his punches hit a lot harder. Fair's in. Good showing from both sides.
