This was a very easy battle to analyse the quality of each verse, but quite a hard one to decide the winner. I’ll explain how I reached my decision because it may seem a bit sketchy.

Bobby, your verse was decent overall. You attacked consistently and rhymed very very often. However, the consistency of your rhyming was let down by it’s simplicity. Rhymes like “sympathy/pity” are only actually rhyming 1 syllable properly (maybe two at a stretch), and the kind of 1-syllable rhyming like this that ran rampant through the verse really held you back.

X-Calibur’s verse was very technically proficient. 7-syllable multi was highly effective, a single flip relying on reasonably basic nameplay was still the best example of wordplay in the battle. However, using only one bar in an 8 bar battle is just not on. Normally this would be an instant loss, but because of just how good your bar was that wasn’t the case.

This is how I saw the battle based on the five criteria:

Multies: X-Calibur

Vocabulary: Bobby

Punchlines: X-Calibur

Metaphores: Bobby

Wordplay: X-Calibur

Which meant X won on quality over quantity, by the narrowest of margins.

Winner didn't fill the box but actually directed an attack towards his opponent and made more sense. Better wording and execution, though the multis were a bit iffy imo. Punch was nice, witty and had sting to it.

Loser's punches lacked impact. Wording wasn't as clean. Punches could have been set up better, using the concept in a better way and keeping shit relevant to have more sting behind your punchline. Not enough seen here to edge it your way.

Bobby youre getting better I would focus on keeping up with more punches then throwing a punch and continuing with it by rhyming other words on it other than that I am seeing progression so keep at it. 

Cali- I know you can write some ill verses and crazy punches that kill but I still wouldve loved to see you feel the box and went at it granted who ever your oppenent is I rated a 5 because you couldve done more than just thinking you dont have to do much to win easy battles but either way you did kill it in one bar.

bobby had some concepts and imagery writing it was cool.

x had a cool line/bar but its too short

so i cant judge it properly Jersey

would have been nice if we both were droppin a one line battle it just comes across as arrogant and a bit silly especially if you hide your bars and then do it. BSA
