Expo:

Level up/game/compete with me. Gingers get burnt easily by the sun, burn also means get beat in a rap battle, son is just another word you can use to mean yourself.

To get beat two different ways makes you ‘sore’ (getting beaten physically) and a ‘loser’ (because you were beat in a competition), so a sore loser is a combination of the two and  means you don’t take losing very well. The ‘Apprentice’ is a ‘game show’ set in a ‘boardroom’ where ‘Lord Sugar’ ‘raises his arm to fire’ one candidate each week from the process. Raise arms and fire also is a gun reference.

‘On wax’ means settling beef via rap. Wax/fire/hold a candle/ pure flames scheme means he can’t ‘hold a candle to’ (deal with) how much more fire I bring (pure flames is bigger than a candle).

A ‘Lil Kilo’ is a ‘small weight’, and ‘four days’ is a ‘small wait’, he couldn’t handle either of them, so this sentence works both ways.

i think Ginge had a decent flow i like "masked magic" pretty dope, but i gotta give it to Squammy, the "burnt by son easily" was fire bro..and the end of his verse had a hard punch bro. fair vote my hittaz.

Ginge, your opener was a bit self-hype, lol. But after that you got quite crafty up till the 'alpackallama' and 'crack his top open' lines which I thought were dope af. But you did have some low points like the dad/prison shit and the closer which could've been reworded with better flips in the setups to bring a better punch. Felt you was a lot more simple in the 2nd half of your verse compared to the 1st half, where the execution was a lot better imo.

Squammy the opener was good but a bit simple, really. Could've reworded that for a more solid punch since it's a broad concept that you used. 'Sore loser' was clever and here being complex actually worked out for you. Next bar was weird. The actual setup to it was well worded and creative too, but the 'snore through ya' just killed it off. You can't snore though a person now, can ya? If that line was worded better the whole bar would've been a solid punch but you trying to stick to the scheme there made it unnatural. The 'hold a candle' line was nice though. The closer fell flat for me, started off with a nice personal and the wording was good but the punch itself wasn't really a hard hitting line. I read the expo and as most peeps on the site would say... If you have to explain a bar, you haven't executed it well enough.

Overall this was a hard one to judge. Ginge one one hand was clowining at points in his verse. And on the other, Squammy had some nice lines but was overly complex in some lines and didn't focus as much on making sure the punch was exectued as well as possible.

But I'mma lean towards Squammy for being slightly more creative here, if Ginge hadn't slacked towards the end this would've gone his way.

Hope there's no backlash over this vote lol, spent the most time on this one.
