Erk got this simply by being more impactful in his lines than Rant was . Rant had great flow and he was really good at imagery in his lines but he wasn't consistently swinging at his opponent like how Erk was . Close battle at least .

I'm kind of too scared to even make a vote on this battle for very certain reasons but I think the winner here is obvious...

This is a super close one but I think by Rant choosing to stick only to the video games Nintendo stuff it limited his punch freshness and creativity. The punches were alright but donkey Kong one was really played and console (game) and console (support) aren’t pronounced the same way at all so that really broke the last punch for me. Whereas Erk started strong , finished strong, and was solid enough yet unspectacular in the middle to Just edge out the win here imo.

Good battle from both. I didn't really see huge punches from either, but the wordplay was nice. I feel like rant dropped some played shit with the donkey kong line that just wasnt hitting. Erk had solid structure that won him the battle ez. I feel like the end of Erks verse feel of somewhat, it wasnt a ez read as it started out. my fav lone was stabbed in the brain, it wasnt cleaver, it just flowed well. Good battle, erk got this

Ive read this a couple times, and was gonna refrain from voting, but fuck it. I am giving this to Rant, I felt like he linked his ideas better from start to finish, where as Erk was saying random shit, just to rhyme words in order to reach his punchline.. I didnt want to vote because I didnt know how badly to weigh Rants errors, Console, Two nah me, shit like that, I ain't really fucking with, but I don't think I should give him an L because he was ultimately being more creative, it was a tough one. I think Erk has alot of potential and just needs to focus on connecting his ideas better to be a huge problem, and if he did that here, would of got the W easily, as Rant wasn't really top flight in this one either.

I think Rant had the better execution of his ideas on a whole.
