That Heaven/ Callaway bar was a screamer even thou it was predictable and the short punch to Usain’s line could have been worded beter as a Set yo but it was kinda funny..

The Canadian Scheme did well in the first 2 bars, On the Haiku..

The first and last lines of a Haiku have 5 syllables and the middle line has 7 syllables. The lines rarely rhyme. So it’s not that well thought bar to me..

Verdict: 

I felt Nine78’s verse was direct, had a good mix of humor and hard punches, and read smoothly.

Callaway started off pretty slow, but had some dope punches in the second half of his verse.

Nine78 was a class above in the end. Good battle fellas..

Apoc!! 

This was the sort of battle that you unfortunately don't see every day: both competitors were swinging with strong quality and quantity. However, I felt that nine7eight had lower consistency compared to Callaway, as well as some inferior punchlines. For example, the Flight 370 setup was ungrammatical because it effectively calls an airplane a "fly"... nah fam. The Usain Bolt bar was well-executed but far from original. The verse wasn't bad though, I was entertained throughout, and I especially liked your opening scheme. As for Callaway, your verse was almost too clean, because it featured the lack of punctuation that you've become known for. Your punches ranged from mediocre to great, with none of the verse being genuinely bad. This is the stuff I like to see on LB. Hands sticking to the paper and Game of hackey sack were both good. Your closer was especially noteworthy. Fair's in.
