This was a very close battle and might be a toss-up depending on a person's preference, but I'm edging it to Mister Smith. He had used better metaphors and had slightly more relevancy between his set-ups and punches (more build-up). KG's best metaphor might have been the "crushed like oxycontin" line and the last bar with "misses Smith and Brangelina" had the most relevancy throughout his verse, but even there, as in other spots, the wording was awkward and lowered the impact of the punch. Mister Smith did a little better with relevancy but some of his punches could've been more thought out. MVGT Mister Smith 5-6

KG took it to a higher pallet with this one !!!!

Read this like 4-5 times, Mr. Smith is honestly impressing me. KG you had some great ideas with the Hephaestus stuff, and brad pitt bars, but some of your set-ups fell flat and made the bar less complex then it should of been, for example the horizontal lines bit, could of been MUCH stronger. You did show good multi usage and structure, decent rhyming too, but the winner showed the same skill level. I am going w/ Mr. Smith here for the cleaner verse, I liked the C level, occulus rift and contintents shift bars, he also schemed like 80% of his verse which I thought helped with how clean the verse read. This is close as fuck though, and could honestly go down to preference, but I am leaning this way. Fairs in, good battle and good luck yall!

Quick tip: KG your #1 error you continue to make, is the wording issues. Once you fix this, you will become 10x better. I can promise you that, read up on how Bleu and Lock write. It's VERY clean and you should be aiming for something similar. The wording is the adhesive for your "quoted bits" and "PUNCHES!!" to stick together. It's the only reason why imo, you lost this one.

Gotta say I wrestled with this one. Both dudes pushed a good verse out here man. KG, I think your wording is still holding you back a bit my dude. Not that I'm not guilty of it as well but just saying, you had some dope fucking ideas here and I think the way you worded them/presented them just really took the edge off. things like bars are horizon lines; outliers , provisional rocky got him ill, punch misses smith? blind love. Like, I get what you're going for but its just not presented super clean and it takes some sting out of the bars for me. Hephaestus was a fantastic idea but think could have had more of a pay-off with a slightly better set up. But, I think the wording of that line is what you would want to strive for in all your lines and then all your punches are gonna knock folks dizzy.

Smith, I think you threw more punches but they werent as high impact. Continents shift was ok, faucet is fixed is good but definitely been done like that before. Occulus rift was IMO your best punch and was a dope line. But closing on a win/wind wordplay at this stage is a big no-no, but given that you are new ( I think :) ) I didn't take too many points off for that. I think your verse was worded cleaner than KG's, however I think the slightly lower impact punches, lower multi count, and some concepts that weren't as fresh were what helped me edge this to KG. Going forward, I think if you keep your wording where its at and try to up that creativity just a bit without getting too wordy, you would be a big problem for sure.

felt mc KG, had better creativity but the wording needed to be worked on, didnt quite read natural.. ex.. hes in bad shit , lowkey, didnt read like regular speech,  also provisional rocky , got him ill.. i think itll help if you can write the bars like convo type sentences, mr. smith, a bit simpler but very clean in execution.. concepts were more basic, but worked... just an easier read... and more fluent.. fairs in
