Prob it doesn't seem you have much rust to shake, "scales beneath me" line was nice as well as interracial preference. i would say your opener was arid, pretty much wasted space to be blunt. Nick, wasn't too fond of your opener either, looked for an expo to it to no avail. my quarrels with your verse was how CALL IT WHAT YOU WANT NICK doesn't rhyme with ALWAYS DOWN FOR BUSINESS. One word just kinda threw me completely off. Second strife was your closer, which contained a broken multi: eskimos shedding some light. I know you're better than this. leaning this way, surprisingly. close

First off, Nick, I don't like you using the expos unless you're going to post your opponent's expo as well. Just saying, considering that only mod comments can be seen untl someone votes. But then again, I suppose if anyone would post their opponent's expo for them, it's you.

Anyway, onto the battle.

Problem, it's always dope to see a legend like you back in the ring. I liked your verse's flow but your punches weren't up to snuff against Nicholas. Don't get me wrong, they were good, but in terms of quality and quantity you struggled a bit. Maybe it's just rust. With that said, your swag, delivery, and flow is better than just about everyone on LB these days.

Nicholas, your delivery wasn't as good as Problem's, but you did have a higher punch count and more complex concepts. The broken multi near the end ("ESKIMOS SHEDDING SOME LIGHT") was shameful, but that's not what brought me to my decision on this battle.

I admit that voting against a legend like Problem on his first battle on this site would feel improper, but fortunately, I'm above petty biases like that. In my opinion, Problem was just slightly ahead of Nicholas in an admittedly apples-to-oranges comparison. Fair's in.

This battle was flames and in a battle this close i gotta be a little petty to choose a winner. 

Prob you were fire bro i never seen you before but your delivery and structure is crazy it makes the punches hit way harder. But you had one wordplay that didnt work for me cuz it just wasn't correct. That's all imma say right now if you want me to explain which one my IM /PM are always open.

Nicholas: you were also fucking fire damn. This was one of the better battles ive read on here in a while. Punches were clean hit hard. Flow was a little choppy at some parts and your structure was clean all around good verse.

My winner is by a super slight edge because of the points made above.

So... Prob is talking about his great track record and Nicholas says he's supposed to be a legend.  I'm embarassed.  I have no Idea who Prob is lol.  Anyway Prob's verse did remind me of an old school style.  More straight forward, albeit more basic.  He had some simple but straight up haymakers in there though, moreso than Nick.  Nicks verse was more sophisticated and he had less filler.  He also stayed on target more without big upping himself.  Too much self reference can really kill a verse.  This was pretty close really, but Prob just had a few harder hits, and a style which jived with me better.

I thought Prob had better use of multi-syllables and a smoother read overall, but I felt Nicholas' jabs hit harder and were more creative.

Both were on their but got to give it to the one I thought earned it

Close but what one had in punches, other made up with a mix of multi flow and concepts. Wit punches.. very very close. But went with the all around cleaner verse... Dope by both tho

Good battle from both. Prob had a smoother style. Both had some great lines, but Prob was a little nicer.

Pretty even match.. Basically i was just feeling the flow of my choices bars and a couple of his bars stood out more for me.. Both were consistent and creative though..
