8's are so much different than any other battle...Rai's carrying of his scheme was excellent and the setups were relevant. A couple of the punches took a bitj too much time to get to and Im guilty of that in 8's too. Rant punched back to back...in a longer battle, Id like to see rhyme schemes not change every set but its an 8 so I get it. Stone cold punch needs a better setup for those who aren't big wrestling fans to get it 100%. Not a bad battle and a tough one to judge but leaning Rant for making better use of the short format by punching with more consistent impact. I wouldnt mind a rematch in a longer battle though...it'd be more true to what both these guys do well.

Winner got this with more punches that hit harder imo, the scheme was kept nicely throughout too, WP was good and set ups to bars were quite good ... Loser's verse seemed to be a hit and a miss, some bars hit hard and others didnt, concepts were good tho, last bar was maybe tha BOTB in terms of the set up, WP used was good too ... Overall, I think one just seemed to have a harder hitting verse which got him tha vote ... Fairs in ... .OPS.

razor thin win on this one. It came down to broken multis, which I only start judging on the technical aspects when the punches and schemes and wordplays are so close. Very nice battle, came down to a pube hair for the win.

damn! This was A Rather Tough Decision for me! Rant started out MURDEROUS but fell Off at the Ending parts. Rai was pretty Consistent thru his entire verse. Nothing Spectacular but for the sake of criteria I was impressed. I call a round two on this One!!
