Both had somewhat disappointing verses, I've seen better from both-however, winner had better setups, multis, wordplay and concepts-loser had one of his worst battles in a while in my opinion, for his first couple bars he had some decent multis but didn't really set them up effectively to make hard punches, but then moved to a simplistic rhyme scheme, which had broken multis and frankly some pretty terrible wording...expected more from both, but fair is in

I wasn't very impressed with this battle. Obey, you've come back recently after a long hiatus, and the rust shows. Your wording and concepts were badly forced in a lot of places. For example: "He goes ghost 4 following his heart"... that wasn't a fluid concept at all. And your wording was unnatural. Teeteegee, you just didn't really have any strong punches in this verse, and you had some bad multies too. The biggest thing that comes to mind is the syllable mismatch between "ROOKIE OF YEAR" and the rest of the multis... I suppose you forgot the add the word "the" between of and year, but it still comes off badly. Anyway, Obey needs to put in some work to elevate back to his former level and Teeteegee needs to work on concepts. Fair's in.
