This was a pretty close battle tbr both did there thing  and was pretty equal across the board but i feel one was slightly more direct so thatll sway my vote in that particular direction FV

Winner had more creative concepts, rhyme scheme was more complex-multis were a bit iffy ("coward" and "for hours" didn't really feel right, as hour only has one syllable in writing, but two in speech, so the multi only really works in text-plus putting "fool" in your first scheme feels like a stretch), but not enough to give him the L. Loser threw less punches and had less creative concepts-still a decent verse, but I've seen better from him...

I felt the loser's creativity was transient here, relied on adjectives a lot, only line that had an impact was his closer, Winner was consistent thru out, with well executed concepts the fair is baked ya dig.

Nerdism

nice battle from both here x started a bit slow with the cardboard box punch but picked it up as the verse went on multies on point an I liked the bape  fo real (pharell) bar as well.. bape come strong an again I wasn't a fan of the first line with the fly on wall but it was brought back with the swipe of a stall punch again Multics on point other than the stem cells part was broke... all in all I think the more smoother read took this for me super close one

Babylon

I like both of you guys so imma take the breakdown approach to be as objective as I can -

X-Calibur: Your opener was cool, the NARCS FLAWED/HARDCORE multi was weird to me until I noticed you're from the United Kingdom so thats quite likely just an accent change because the rest of the rhyming was present. The concept was entertaining and paid off with the cardboard punch for me in a light-hearted funny sense, though it may have been a little ill-spent in taking up 2 1/2 bars for the impact it provided.

TAME N CANT BEAT ME / FLAMES TO MARK B SEE / REIGN IS HARD TO BEAT G / NAME TO KHALESSI this scheme was def more wonky & seemed hastily put together, the concept being "this bitch -do something-, like [reference to a female] is tremendously played but can be acceptably dope if set up correctly, which I liked the set up tbh its just that the rhyme scheme was so all over the plac. That ending bar however was nice, you def knew to end with a crescendo. just a traditionally dope setup punch with wordplay to boot. High 6.

bape: First bar was a good way to set the tone of the 8, quick but effective. "a lice" sounds wonky, "some lice" may have been more fluid to read. You adhered to the rhyme scheme pretty perfectly despite the GUY IS A FOOL bit which may be an accent thing again, and you executed multiple relevant setups to a good crescendo though I thought perhaps it wouldve served better ending at the fly on the wall bit as the first lines set it up so well to keep the momentum going after that kind of muddys it to me, the last scheme was deadly complex & pulled off fairly well rhyme-wise, some semi-wonky reading in terms of the rhymes being written in a manner less geared for regular english and more as an obvious adherance to the scheme, which the object is to just fluidly exist within it instead of making the grasp for adherance seem forcefully focused on. Though I think that punchline TOTALLY paid off for this, and in the end kind of just made the schemes complexity more of an impact. Assuming the grenfell towers are the recent london tower fire (which I just googled a couple minutes later to confirm) just a fire bar. High 7.

Overall both had some semi-wonky places but also some quite goodplaces, I believe one ended up being more consistent in his approach keeping up the creative writing and punching in between some pretty safe scheming. Good shit guys i cant be asked to re-read all this for clerical errors so just bare with me lmao

one was fresher and more creative with his  bars here and got the dub. Loser's wordplay didn't work for me in his finisher and therefore  closed of the verse pretty poorly
