I feel like one was more concise with his setups and rhymed with a bit more complexity which helped the impact of his punches. Creativity was up and down and wording coulda been tightened up in a few spots but had enough to win here. The other was ok...a couple of the rhymes seemed too slanted or just off. Maybe just my accent...idk. Had a couple good ideas but the name plays fell a bit flat and that cost em here.

Bape

Dope battle here can't really say anything bad about either besides maybe a couple lines that were an awkward read. Other than that nice shit. Got my winner here through more creativity and better concepts, close. Fairs in.

RayZeus: Your opener was structured in a rapid punching approach & while doing that with a four syllable multi executing the concepts right is fairly top tier flames type shit I think that your wp/concepts fell SLIGHTLY flat in terms of impact. Like, I believe the ho-tell bar was solid wp it was just more on the basic side. Same for the stabbed reference, it all worked perfectly but the impact couldve been worked up imo.  I think your following bar was better, but the been/laid/in and bin/lad/in wordplay does not work sonically or when spoken because lad has more of a long A sound like laad and laid has that hard I sound in it. Still, the concept was fire. I like your structure, it's A1 even, and you have a good mind for concepts, I just think you should spend more focus on reworking your execution at the crescendo or ending portion to up the overall impact. Your next bar had an exceptionally complex multi, which was executed in a fluid & dope manner. I liked the punch at the end, and it fit perfectly with the fluid structure. Thought your ending bar was a tad long winded for the crescendo, but it worked. Good read. Some discrepencies but I saw this as a solid verse.

Raidan: Began with an eight syllable multi, good shit. dirECTION SQUADRONS wouldve been more accurate for the syllable count but thats pure nitpicking lol. Was a good concept turned fire by the multis, I rate that. Thought your next bar was far more obscure & even abstract, which kinda threw me off from its impact as I definitely take relevance into consideration personally so this was a miss from my view. I liked the rhyming of this next clothes scheme, set up creatively strong but the crescendo couldve been more relevantly impactful to me. You extended this scheme into a new topic and did this quite well, definitely rate your advanced rhyming here thats a large factor in the overall vote for me considering you are also executing some solid ass conceptual creative writing within the scope of that advanced multi usage. Thought your ending bar followed this structure, and came off very impactful & advanced complexity wise.

Overall: I think Raidan overpowered ray in terms of impact, from a few sides. I believe my breakdowns speak for my view on the battle, no hate intended at all both of you guys did your thing.

Also this is the type of breakdowns I drop when I'm this baked for 4/20 lmao. yall stay active
