dope ass battle one brought dope imagery & punches the other came with a dope style and punches... Im coming back to this to make my final call, Im leaning one way but I want to make sure Im not trippin. props to both

Eth: LoD secret lair was tough, the hueys shadow vietnam reference was crack, seen monster inc bars but I liked the direction u took with it. Overall: I felt like you had a nice flow and dope setups to follow but they were also long drawn maybe u could of threw a couple more heavy hittin lines in the mist of it.  Rupt: i like the blowin smoke some the bridge bar but the set up just seemed ehhh!, the hackin into the family tree was dope, lmao at the slice bread bar i liked that, closer was strong n the multis helped it hit. Overall: I felt u had some strong lines but a couple of dead spots also... vote: I wouldve gave this to one if he had cut his material a bit and added 1 haymaker or the other wouldve had it by a good margin if he cut the dead spots and added another hittin line, props to both

Slick Ray indeed. Rupert had some dope quotables too. Super close battle, I gotta come back to this.

Personals-Eth...he had a ton of references, idk how true they are, but his attack was heavily based on personals...Erupt's personals were mainly explaining his AC debriefing, & nothing further.

Multies-Eth...this was his main weapon, heavy emphasis on the syllable schemes, even though his closer was broken, which was a minor letdown after carrying the pattern for so long. Erupts multies were just as dope, maybe even better, but he didn't emphasize the stanzas as much as Eth, so i'm giving Eth the edge in this category.

Punchlines-Erupt...He had several that wowed me, notably the "hacking into your family tree/pirating ancestry.com" & "showing em the bar code & ripping the label off"...Eth didn't land any decisive haymakers that stood out, he was more focused on other ways of attack, as aforementioned. Erupt by a mile.

Wordplay-Erupt...I thought the best spaz of wp in this battle was the "I'm DIF'RENT N MADE-the-CALLS cus he know(casino) after his cards are dealt i'll be FLIPPIN THE TABLE YALL!!!!/

wait.....THIS IS THE FLAMES-i'm-ON TWISTED DERRANGED-wit-CLAWS RIPPIN HIS FRAME-n-JAW WRITTENS IS BLADES-n-SAWS that'll break a leg without havin to GET IN A PLAY ON BROAD then SLIPPIN ON STAGE-n-FALL!!"...this was sick! Eth didn't have a blackout moment like this, his attack was more reserved & not as aggressive.

There are plenty of other categories that I could break down, but who needs all that, let me just jump to the overall  breakdown...Eth had a solid battle verse...not a ton of oohs & ahhs, or notable quotables, but fundamentally he was on point...he had a lot of personal ammo that he utilized, with several quotes from other lb members, and he followed a deliberate strategy flawlessly...his consistency was the impressive part of his drop...Erupt didn't fill in the box, which is the main knock I hold against him, but if you actually count them, two halves equaling one line, it's about the same amount of material as Eth, 21 lines or so...besides that, Erupt was more lyrical, sharp, punch-heavy, humorous, witty, & didn't need to resort to a ton of references not everyone would comprehend...everything accounted for, I give Erupt the slight nod. Fair vote in. Great battle!

one took this with ease. could of had a higher rating if box was filled. winner had more punches then his opponent and more creative multis. FV

Although it is unfinished material Im leaning this way for the better wordplay usage as the other had personals that landed hard but not everyone can relate to them and it kinda knocks off points for me unless theyre below the belt punches I just dont get most of them as my winner was more straightforward with his

Would've voted 8-8 Rupert w/ the heavier punches, enjoyed both verses though.
