One had nameplay and some personals...I felt some of the nameplays were a little obvious but it was decent and read smooth...The other was more personal and i felt the builds made the lines hit harder then they normally would...His verse also read smooth for the most part..This is a cool battle got one the fairs in Voted: Rain Matrix 1 / Esso

Rain: [Good opener, I dig it. Decent second one, seems a little indirect. Going to war with bitches (mods) "BUT" next door is Maude Flanders? Think it would've translated better as an "AND". Still good idea and consistent flow. Es-say line didn't go where I thought! I liked it. However, if wordplay should work both ways, you could've executed it better. The milk/beef shit is played but it works tbh and the closer just seemed like an argument a 5 y.o. would make or some serious dad humor that didn't work in a hostile context.] Esso: [Opener was good, and creative. Retro follow up was witty, a good personal flip 'n jab. Sketchy tricks aren't necessarily a good thing to have, but the concept was neat. Finisher was stronger than your opponent.] This was v close. For an opener, I felt one had a filler set up, with decently executed light jabs, and treaded with much played lines, but ended up strong, n the other, had fresh nameflips, had few lines that struggled to even register as a punch imo but was more effective in his Approach the fair is in.. nice battle pretty fun and enjoyable read I feel rain took multies easily his were cleaner he edged punches both were great and well set up I just feel some like the simpsons lines hit harder overall rain was just too smooth here unlike his opponent who was great but could of had a much better delivery and made better use of multies Voted: Rain Matrix 1 / Esso
