Cool battle guys, first time reading both i think. Home you have a real interesting style, makes for a fun read. Esso you're very punch-heavy, reminds me of that RULE dude. I thought both were really strong, really enjoyed the clash of styles and look forward to reading more from both. S O U L R I T E	Okay. I had to read this battle a few different ways to get the full experience. I read 4 bars from one, then 4 from the other to get a "now it's your turn to respond" vibe. I read them all the way through, AND I read them bar by bar. And tbh this battle was a lot closer than I anticipated. I felt one person came with their usual style, which is exceptional. Some of the schemes and ideas could have been fresher but I understand how it is when you're writing a 32. Good schemes are hard to come by. I would have liked to see more name hits from this person, seeing as how personals have always seemed to be his strong suit. To the other, I was very impressed with the personals used. A punchline that has truth behind it will always have more impact than punchlines just for the hell of it. I'll admit, the opening line and punch threw me for a loop (in a bad way) but once I caught the flow I actually enjoyed reading the verse. My only advice would be to mindful that being over-complex with multie-usage can be a bad thing at times. Not all the time, but sometimes it can hinder your verse as far as readability and simplicity. But anyways, this was a great championship battle. No sway or hate intended, I promise. Xercius	Dope battle fellas...Homeschool like the combination u did here..the mixture of comedic and battle bars were pretty cool..The piece was hella entertaining to read..I did feel like u did stretch in some areas and could of maybe substituted some of the stretches for more concise hits..The other was mainly punching the whole time..With the usual long build to heavy finish..Nothing really bad to say..Maybe some more diversity..Then again I don't really mind a punch heavy style..others might though..I got one edging do to landing a lot more hits...Anyway the fairs in Voted: Homeskool / Esso Posted on: 2016-02-13 01:38:07

COFFIN DODGER	this was a dope battle and close as hell . both came with personals , nice concepts and metas , also good humor from both wich was nice to see . multis were very good , tho think one shaded it tho both had 1-2 fillerish/forced lines and neithers closer was that strong for me . think this will be a 45/55 type battle and will come down to personal preference , but one JUST got it for me , great battle n nh . So why was Celsius's vote removed when Esso's wasn't? Both are FVC members. If Esso can vote against Celsius, Celsius should be able to vote against Esso. There is a double-standard here.
