Nice ass verses guys, been following both you guys & this is a definite show-out battle for you two imo, imma vote on this a little differently and go through the pros and cons of each battlers verse then make a decision based on that. To start off Blue, I think that you grasping the higher syllable count and going for more complex multis definitely contributed to the overall complexity of your verse, and made you look fairly polished & dope structurally. Your only downfall here to me is the stretching and focing of some of your wording to make your punches go off / that are just incorporated in general. You also had some reaches in your worldplay (DIE JUST DID / DIGESTED) that while were slight & didnt really make my decision much different could have been substituted with some dope, non-reaching haymakers which would have definitely made your verse better in the end. Loved your lower syllable count jabs in between the bigger setups, really added an intensity to the mental cadence of your verse. That optical illusion wordplay was absolute chronic, quite impressed by that bar tbh. Going to be hard for Fybre to top that as bar of the battle. I think your ending bars were a bit too simplistic and didn't punch above the standard you set with the previous bars, which kind of took away from the overall progression of the verse as instead of topping off with a crescendo you flattened & fizzled out towards the end. I'd def look at your verses in a broad scale like that from now on and place bars in with an overall progression in mind, instead of just listing bar after bar and ending off with filler instead of a final knockout punch. Overall dope ish tho, moving on to Optikz. From the starting of your verse I can see that you're forcing some of your multis in to make your punch work, which is def a bad thing. Note how the only things that rhyme in your opening scheme are the last two syllables, that means that this is a two syllable bar, not a 7 syllable bar as the capping would indicate. As I'm reading more into your verse I can see that your multis def need work, but your concepts are totally there. If you improved your syllable matching and ish your style would really be hard hitting, but as of now it comes off a bit forced due to all of the forcing in of your multis to make the concepts work. That's actually pretty much all I can say about your verse tbh, your concepts are fairly strong but the execution comes off a tad forced & slightly awkward due to the incorporation of non-rhyming multis. My ending verdict is definitely objective, and I think that while this was a dope battle my winner got this pretty solidly. He simply outclassed his opponent creatively, incorporating hard punches with mixed jabs & metaphors to differentiate the read while also maintaining a fairly good fluidity & not falling off TOO hard with the multi issues. Tough one to judge. I loved the "town with no water supply" line and some of the multis in that verse. The "made in china" line was weaker, as was the whole grain line. On the other verse the "scottish flag line" was crazy, but the "quiddities" was weakened by the fact that it had to be explained outside the battle, and there were some broken multis as well.
