Anarchist: Loved the opener, felt the verse never picked back up as hard as it started though there were some good jabs along the way. Lockhart: Opening lines flowed well but weren't your greatest but they held a little truth so that definitely was a bonus 2nd half of your drop were your best punches imo was digging the closer. Good battle here and def can go either way but i felt one edged this one FV and GL to both. Voted: Anarchist /

This was indeed a dope battle. I'll start with Anarchist. Your vocabulary skills are off the charts in my opinion. Not a single line from you was predictable or common, which is a major plus. However, I feel as though for the first half of your drop you focused a little too much on rhyming, and not enough on punching. But I digress, a well crafted verse with some nice punchlines. Lock, your drop was pretty much the same. Captivating, fresh vocabulary and ideas, except you utilized your space to fit a few more punchlines than your opponent. The Villagers Stay Safe line was the best of the battle to me. All in all, a great tournament battle. I feel the voting will go down the wire or to the last two votes. So best of luck to both of you. I felt like one was just outrapped here. My loser really lost this in the scheme department with the way he broke up his schemes. Some people might be tolerant of that, but I personally am not... also, your concepts just didn't hit for as much damage as the opponent's. As for my winner, I felt like your schemes didn't always match up perfectly and your concepts could have been a little better or more cleanly executed, but you were fairly decent throughout.
