I expected a lot different. Tbh this was my wildcard battle but I felt like one's punch was more of a line, and the lack of a personal within that line just kinda sapped the energy. The other had a good idea, but the idea itself is something I feel you have to gradually work into. Trying to cram all of that detail into 1 punch is a bit ooverwhelming.Vote is explained and hopefully respected. Voted: Student / Obey

I thought this was pretty close. One had the better use of metaphor but the other had the better follow-through as far as the concept used. I'm slightly leaning one way. Fairs. Voted: Student / Obey

Honestly a weird battle here tbh. Student- I knew right away where you were going w/ the bar. However, the bar didn't quite make sense to me. The wp was sketchy as S Obey does not make Sobe at all. The end also isn't quite a concept. What exactly is a quirky geico? I was stumped on this one as it didn't have much impact. The idea was there but overall it wasn't worded or executed right. Obey- I liked the set ups, however to me you had a typo in your bar which was a huge loss to me. I also don't get the connection between the funerals and a selfie stick/ unhealthy bitch. It was worded awkwardly and lost it's connection. Overall this was very hard to judge. I had one winning this with a slightly more creative approach. Fairs dropped Voted: Student / Obey

Honestly expected more from both here.. While the first had solid rhyming and good flow, iMovie true impact wasn't present due to the fact that the concept just didn't provide the grounds for a heavy hit. The second was meh also, thought I was gunna see something a lot different. At any rate the concept was just okay again, the execution of was not much better than his opponents here. Wording and improper placement took this from a possible 8 to a 7, I felt the strongest part of the line was in the middle making the strength of it dwindle that much more.
