This seems a little lop sided but here we are. One had a more advanced level on their side (Although, it did have me rolling my eyes a couple of times with how forced it felt.) while the other's came off much more basic though it did flow much smoother. Ima probably take some flack for this but I dont care. One I seriously thought would be coming better than this just wernt feeling much in the verse if im honest. Flow was hard for me to follow and to me it didnt feel like yoi were saying anything as much as just words in a box. Felt my winner was a bit of the same except the flow made it SO much easier to read and connect with. Couple of mistakes ttipped me up but not too bad. Ok. I had to read each a couple times. I'm a bit surprised that this is as close as it is. One side, Had some decent multis and punches...while the other side kind of shocked me a little bit with what I felt was some forced multis, because the verse just didn't seem to fit together well imo. Some of the lines didn't really make sense, or was a bit forced leaving you to use your imagination as to what he's trying to get across. Example: "when I 'Sierra: you'll get put in Ta'comas' like i'm tryna SWITCH TRUCKS-n-MIX UP TOYOTAS!" I get the truck scheme but what is.. 'When I Sierra' ?? One's structure is different than what you normally see on LB, but it works. It just seems a bit out of date. Tha punches were there tho & hitting w some good wp & his wording was better than tha other's. Could tell there's some rust tho. Tha other started off w a played concept, that really hurt his drop. After that he didn't get much better, he actually started to fall apart considering tha lack of punches. His shii was more cypher ish than a battle verse. Stay away from rhyming words together just because they rhyme. Pick a concept / main punch to work w & build off that while staying relevant. Overall consistency & better punches won this, fairs in. godbody: Your text is creative and originally, you had some lines that i know was well thought out. It ended out a little flat though, just my opinion. Ill4: I was surprised by some really good rhymes. The lines was more straight on, still really "hardhitting" and it still worked out really good. I can say no more than well played. Very surprised in this outcome, both came in and did they're thing but the underdog in a lot of people's opinions came in and dropped some pretty decent punches, I felt I have seen a lot better from my loser in the punch category, came with the multies and structure but honestly punches were non apparent towards the end...FV gb to both soldiers. This was alright, I'm not really feeling any of the verses too much. The winner to me is capable of much more, the concepts were kinda played but the execution wasn't too bad which helps. Wordplay was also forced in some areas, but I liked the ideas of most of them. Rust is a factor most likely. Loser was just basic in all formats, no real punches thrown, the set-ups weren't there.. Very intense battle and close but unfortunately letsbeef will only let me pick one winner so i can't say it's a tie. Reason for voting for Godbody is because of rhythm, internal rhymes, assonance (fo' FO'BUCKS) and multis in his opening. His punchline "go ahead throw a STIFF PUNCH-jus-DON'T DUCK" was aggressive and challenging. He then messed up a little bit more but nevertheless threw some power in them. ILL4 came in pretty heavy as well especially with the bar "u see the power in the GODS Veins." He could've won if only he executed his bars better to make more sense such as "shred ock", "you all lame", and "CAR CRASH THIS MIGHT." Epic battle nonetheless. Voted: Godbody / Bnas
