generous ratings for a 32.... dope battle you two...felt one here was smoother in structure and scheme work, shit rolled off the tunge like butter... coupled wit concepts that werent overly complex that would require nicholas cage to decipher.....one here actually came wit some interesting word combinations, alot of original content... felt that wording in some of the plays felt forced or read awkward, but they were far in between...good read... and worthy LBT match.. but i got my winner. One took this convincingly imo. Loser tried to be too overly complex and i felt the wordplay u used was iffy and executed suboptimally hurting the impact of the bar. Wording was also awkward/iffy in places which didn't help. Try using concepts more ppl can relate to and understand easier but still having clever outside the box thinking on it. First of all you guys should've filled the 32 lol okay real expo time: I felt like one edged with wording. I felt like they were both pretty creative and even though the loser tried a more complex approach I felt like that ultimately hurt with their general direction of their verse. I felt like the winner took a simpler approach as far as wordplay goes but they were still able to tie-in complex concepts with hard hitting punchlines together. Regardless this was a pretty close battle imo and a great battle for the LBT Championship but there can only be one winner. Think both's verses suffered from a touch of "I need to make it complex syndrome" which ruined the impact a touch. In ones verse it made the decent flow that much harder to follow and in the others the multi game was on point (but fuck me at times was it questionnable/slante d) but took away from the punches themselves. Why say 6 or more syllables if you can do it with two or three? Echo what subreal said with concepts too. I feel both at times I was thinking wtf are they on about. Try sticking with shit the average Joe knows about. So this leaves it close for me. In the end I went with the verse I connected with that bit better with what I felt was the better flow.
