I felt like this was a no-contest victory for my winner, because he, quite simply, brought heavier punchlines to the table. That said, I felt that too much of his verse consisted of setups and filler, and not actual punching. Setups are good, when done correctly, but you want as much of your verse to be firing off as possible. Lines that aren't punchlines are simply there to adjust the quality vs. quantity factor - that is, how many punchlines you can throw in a given amount of space vs. how much damage each punch hits for. For example, "coz he's a weak fuck in the deep stunts of beats bruh like a LAME THAT GETS VEX'D!" Is there something I'm missing here? I didn't see much of a punch here, so all this is doing is being a standalone bar that didn't need to be here. You could have cut out all the internals and just used the multi set as part of a setup, but even that, in my humble opinion, would have constituted a waste of space. Moving on, to my loser. I felt you just didn't throw many punches. You really need to incorporate more double meanings into your verses, even if it's just very simplistic ones at first, like lyrical "bars"/prison cells. Your flow was nice, but it just read through fluidly, without leaving me with any sort of "good taste in my mouth" after it was done. I strongly recommend that you go and read some of the stronger battlers on here to get a better idea of what I am referring to. One, while still having noticeable flaws in his verse, has gotten this battle won, due to better understanding of punchlines and more powerful jabs. Fair's in. Voted: Golden Armz / Cujo Caine
