Alright, good battle. I felt one had better flow, but his opponent had better multies and punches, giving him the win. Also, ET, I felt your CEO wordplay was a little forced - it was passable, but try to make your wordplays work both ways a bit more. Your nameplays were a little obvious, as well. et- aight first bar, im liking the slight humor and sarcasm.. setup idea was fairly relavent to your end, concept 'C.E.O.. now here it works one way, as see E, oh, but readin it as 'gonna C.E.O.... doesnt ready like a proper phrase...someone's 'gonna 'be' C.E.O.. reads properly... anyway, this is something you could take into account when ever fashioning wordplay.. next bar, i see the buildup, wit more subtle monkey references.. but due to the box size, i'd recommend shortening the setup, too lengthy and your losing punches this way.. also, try to only 'quotate' phrases that pertain toyour end punch, hungry for war,something to prove, are pretty much useless filler..your using 'hungry' to associate with the food references, but it still doesnt equate to anything damaging..your end concept was prolly your best one.. and althought i've seen many variations of 'throwin shit=anything with monkeys... your chimp enclosures was fairly decent and new... monkey bars- off the bat, some decent complexity in your multis, ssetup wasnt too relavent, tho, you intially have these water references, 'flow' tital wave, ocean'... and end talkin bout the bible and trojans...try to stay focused on one idea and follow thru.. rest of your bars are focused on mismatched multis, or multis that arent schemed properly to attain the flow that a multi is used for... ex.. mouse and have peeps, ..have and da dont match sound wise.. certain multis have interchangeable link words, and 'locked' words which should rhyme exact wit the stressed sound... other multis were pretty irrelavent and nonsensical to anything.. try to make every multi count as part of your attack on your opponent.. it almost feels like you ran out of stuff to use and just kinda winged afterwards... this was an easy choice for me... winner here had a more structured and cleaner verse that contained some elemvents of concept usage and better multi insertion... fairs in.. ET the Refugee: Overall Okay Verse, The Wordplay Wasn't Bad Although I Didn't Get Why You "Wordplay'd" Guerrilla/Gorilla". Other Then That I'd Just Say Keep The Flow But Work On Being More Creative And Cutting Down On Some Filler You Have In There, You'll Have More Room For Punchlines Which The Best Way To Attack Your Opponent As Opposed To General Insults. Work On That And You'll Be As Golden As ET's Chain. Monkey Barz: I Felt Like You Mainly Focused On Flow With This Verse. There Wasn't Really A Punchline In There To Rate And Although You Don't Always Need One You Should Have At Least A Few In There, It Hurts You As Far As Rhyming Ability Goes When Your Judging. I'd Say Keep The Flow But Throw In Some Set-Ups And Get Some Punches Going, Keep The Flow Tight Though And You'll Be On Your Way. Overall Battle: Enjoyed Reading These But Felt It Was Really One Sided, The Winner Had A Better Verse Overall But The Loser Has A Good Foundation As Far As Flow Goes. Fair's In Guys.
