I had my winner after the first read, but I reread each verse a couple times to make sure I didn't miss anything. I'll start with Grizz. Your verse had a good foundation with solid punches being thrown, but you had a cringeworthy worldplay or two and a broken syllable count on one of your schemes (!). Illy, this is one of the weaker performances I've seen from you. Are you getting burned out by all these championship battles, by any chance? I wasn't feeling some of your schemes at all, but I think that's more a matter of accent difference than anything. As much as I hate dropping anything under an 8 in an LBT championship battle, this really read more like an undercard to me. In the end, this came out as a high 7 to mid 8 for me. Good battle to both, but it's very disappointing compared to what it should have been. Voted: GRizzEAT / ILLoKWENT

After reading threw this both had their ups and downs some came with some fresh lines and some played lines some forces nameplays and wordplays on both sides for me but as a collective verse its flow and connecting ability in its puns i had to lean one way and I'm slightly surprised but then i have been out for a minute and it seems theres a new hitter in town ..... This was a nice battle here fellas. I felt both of you did your own thing here. Both were smooth and had next to no filler. I liked ones edge in the way his bars were executed to make them smoother. The other had some nice double entendres that I was really digging. Lots of quotables but I'm going w/ the verse I overall enjoyed more and had the edge in consistency.
