Okay, try to focus on attacking your opponent Nick, and make sure you're filling the box. Read the general help forum posts and battles with the best on the site to get a hang of the formatting. Most voters take points off for the style you were doing. If you prefer not to attack your opponent but instead write on a subject, maybe topical battles/cyphers are more your thing. TerraByte: thank you for your illuminating input. So now I understand the dif, I'll post more generally into the cyphers section (I prefer such to battling over nothing). This can still be a battle: I challenge girls that they are unworthy as gfs because I'm so dope (lol w/e) , and I challenge guys such that they can critique my position, or claim the condition applies even more to them than it does to me, because they are doper. About formatting: I'll peep the recommendations, but I honestly believe line breaks and stanzas are easier to read than the ginormous text blocks people customarily employ 'round here. Yea, topical battles (debates) are great. I prefer debate, discussing points, to this 'floating in the void' general dis exchange, that seems like it could apply to anybody, is not situation specific, and so on. To me, 'freestyling' general disses is more like running a general rhyming machine that's pejorative toward subjects/audiences, while topical freestyling is more engaged and engaging, at least in my humble opinion. Thanks again for your input. Looking forward to the topics battles, cyphers. -Nichola s of Many Names Comment Only

Like a sack of shit that's lit you throw your fit, 2fuel that leaves a stench your stank propels my vomit I ain't got time to get sick on your rhymes that don't do shit but bicker in any direction you spit them quicker as if this makes you better but feel me and try to think I'm vorpal with my tank I spin rhymes that cut deeper than any bitch ass shank, so please, don't step to me, clearly you lose credibility. I'm an accomplished top wargamer since tender seventeen, always number one just for fun I roll you and all your holmes. peace. Comment Only

comment part two to 2fuel: written freestyle without edits at 50 WPM, and no premeditation or rhymes recycling: not getting picked don't mean shit - to the quick - I mean what's popular opinion in a nation gone to shit, say what's the economy? That's the value of normality. I bust from the curve and man that shit ain't funny. Imagine the life of a young g, grown up in isolation, cause jealousy and envy of the way I bust my strategy. Went to a small school, k-12, spent the time in the computer room like I was a slave, bitch ass colleagues dont know shit, so with the games I stick, and when they'd try to meet me on the server I'd run them like bisquick, so shit, it's evidential, it don't mean shit I've no credentials: creden tials only mean you've got a team, and on average, what's the scheme, but the combined intelligence and what it brings, so back to the economy, to drop your whole philosophy, that team mentality ain't shit but daisy chain androgyny, you ain't a man- you're a bitch with a subscription to someone else's plan, when you make the rules, it awes the fools, and they don't pick you cause they're cruel, try to bite back with hate, cause zero-sum comparabilities seal their fate. Law of the jungle wins some times, it's not so great. so peace at freestyle pace. thanks for participating. -nic holas of many names Comment Only

Nick, the comment verse where you sort of battled back is an okay start, but mildly mediocre in terms of rhymes/wordplay/punc hlines. I won't usually mention who I'm voting for to avoid swaying, but since I critiqued you earlier I think it's kind of obvious. Good luck with those cyphers, you're obviously an intelligent guy. Try to apply that to your rhymes by slipping in a little more wordplay/complex rhymes. Voted: Nick Of Many Names / 2FUEL

Haha--thanks. Comment verses/ critique/commentary below: Some of my best word play I think is here, and it's of a different sort (I wrote this in '08). Please read this in a monotype font such as courier for full effect: care bear's tummy cord drawn, ring ebbing of the music box- she carefully danced, humming the aria: she began to dream, her rearing from remembering, her ears enthralled, tethered to the tune, arriving at last to the climax, the spirouette In courier font, you'll see all sorts of words hidden along vertical and diagonals (I have some other poems with better diagonals but whatever). I tried to write a sexy poem for girls and this is what I got. The imagery, with respect to physics, is supposed to be sexual (a rip cord of a musical box embedded in a stuffed animal, for example). The word "sex" is hidden along the last diagonal, from left to right, going down. "care" and "bear" occurs multiple times reading downward at various parts of the text. I was proud of this one. About my comment writebacks: I think I'd have won if we were only looking at comments, not the original, which is a miscategorized post. The original suffers rhythmically, with respect to word play, a bit, but is still conceptual, at least that's the intent. The comment one tries to bite back with a strong argument: If the strength of the economy is the result of the sum or gestalt of intelligences in the union acting together, for each other, for themselves, and if the economy is so poor, then that must mean that the collective gestalt of intelligence is poor, or insufficient for survival (indeed we have failing ecosystems and considerations left behind). If the collective intelligence is poor, then it doesn't mean anything that an individual should be maligned by a group: that group has already lost credibility for having such a poor economy. Anyway, since my opponent 2FUEL refers to group mentality as an authority, which my argument I believe discredits so well, imho (in my humble opinion), I believe he loses credibiity and so loses the battle. that said, I could have used more word play, you're right. thanks for the reminder/suggestion that this is central to keeping peeps interested.
