It was an easy decision for me but there will still flaws in both verses. Nyar, I thought you started off quite well and was feeling the multies used in the opening bar. Concept was half-baked and the punch fell off. I felt the core of your verse had some forced rhyming and irrelevant filler. Concepts throughout were all half-baked and didn't convert into any impact. Your scheme-work was solid throughout and I didn't spot a broken multi so structurally, you remained integral but I didn't feel any punch impact. Work on double entendres, set-ups and converting your concepts into punches. Blunt, opener was quite nice. I liked the concept and the wording was on point. I despise any vet/doctor references as they are played as fuck, overdone and weak. Consequently, the SLOPPY TEXT reference had no foundation to form a punch. Square Up/Circles Round Eyez was very sparse and held no weight. Ercle Disguise also didn't have any build-up and the referencing used was vague. I liked the multi that you used for the finishing bar but then I saw a played and forced wordplay which is also overdone. Senseless would sound like Cents Less - while grammatically correct in the sentence, it's an awkward approach to the wordplay. You started off well but fell off from that point onwards. Work on maintaining that consistency and try to avoid straying off into played concepts, filler and weak punches. One got this with a better grasp of concepts and a better rate of punchlines. Mid to mid here, both did fairly well. My loser would have taken this very easily if his concepts matched his great flow/multi usage. My winner got this simply because his concepts were more creative, and it made the verse a bit more impressive. No hate to either, I'd suggest that the loser here should just elevate slightly with his concepts and he'd be a definite problem in this league. Voted: Shodan / The Dope Man
