close bout, one had cleaner wording, but lacked in punch strength, one had slightly more creative concepts, wordin was poor in some areas...but setups is what helped boost you a bit more... toss up ,but leaning this way Comment Only

One had all-round a better readability, a lot cleaner and with more of a crystal clarity. Row, I have to say the downside to your verse was the intermittent forced and awkward wordplays: "Ha, trick/Hatrick" was very insignificant, badly slotted in and didn't contribute much to the punch. "goal, E. Save it/Goalie Save It" was when it started to get silly, although grammatically correct, in order to slot this wordplay in you sacrificed the natural speech element. In my opinion, these sorts of wordplays don't have a place in text battling and I think it's a shoddy form of setting up a punch. I still feel like you had a lot of creativity, scheme-wise and punch-wise. There were a few awkward multies that threw the cadence off but nothing terrible. I was disappointed to see so many schemes and it would have been nice to see you hold a scheme for a little longer as it helps reading fluidity and is more impressive, given that a 16 gives you the leeway. Your most effective punch was the simplest which was Strip was Hotter/Bacon in the Pan as you didn't stray into convoluting your own punches with bad and half-baked referencing. I also liked the Podophilia idea but it wasn't executed perfectly. All in all, the wordplays took your set-up quality down the drain alongside some unclear and shoddy referencing but I still saw your ideas and the creativity managed to shine through at points. Enfinite, I feel you had a cleaner read with a little less creativity but the simplistic structure you adopted made your punchlines more effective. You were a lot safer with wordplays (Duckin a Cold Case, Cliques/Clicks) and this allowed you to avoid being criticised for forced wordplay yet I still feel that both of those wordplays were cop-outs. They contributed to the punch but I still think it's extremely hard to get a huge punch impact from such safe and vanilla wordplay. Throughout your verse, it was all straight-forward jabs and punches. Making green/Golf courses ... Clockin em Hands Down/Time reference ... Touch cells/Iphones and Androids. All clear but lacking creativity, although a few had a taint of originality to them. With punch game being safe but solid, I was disappointed to see not only plain scheme-work but a broken multi in the second half of your verse - [DESTINED TO HUNT (4) ... FLEXIN BUT NO GUTS (5) ... LEFT IN UR LUNCH (4)] - this was disappointing and really diminished your structural integrity. Akin to your opponent, you also failed to hold a scheme for a longer period which I think is a key element to writing a readable 16. All in all, both had peaks and troughs in parallel areas of battling. Although structurally less creative, I feel the winner's punches were more effective due to their simplistic and readable nature. If the other had been sharper with their referencing and wording, making for less fogged-up punchlines, they would have taken this based on creativity and execution. Barely splittable and it's down to readability. Vitty's vote's in. Comment Only

This was an entertaining battle here. Both had nice concepts, one just used his better. Readability was a bit iffy in ones set of bars. The wording/execution of ones piece sometimes took away from the bars 'punch factor' a few times. Fairs in, Fuels out. Comment Only

God this one is hard to vote on. My loser kind of lost it towards the end of his verse, with his rhymes just getting a little weaker with a broken multi and some really weird wording. Very very close battle though. Comment Only
